After the MOA signing on June 30, 2008, the PGAD office started to share about GWP during the PGAD Council, PIACAT-VAWC meetings and other meetings/gatherings.
HOW REPLICATION STARTED…
4
How GREAT news has been embracedby non-pilot municipalities…
• Orientation on GWP for newly elected officials, last July 22, 2010, with ReINa officials and LCEs and other elected officials from non-pilot municipalities
•Non-pilot municipalities verbalized their pledge of commitment to be a GWP replication municipality.
•One factor considered in the selection is their being active GAD implementers.
•Eight (8) municipalities that pledged to embrace the project were Sariaya, Mauban, Padre Burgos, San Narciso, Macalelon, Gumaca, Lopez & Calauag.
