Title: Development of electrical models for inductive

Aim of Project

• The main aim of the project is to develop Matlab programs to predict the inductance, AC resistance and magnetic field levels of coils used in wireless charging systems.

• Testing on prototype coils in the lab to prove results

• Simulation using Finite Element Analysis(i.e Ansys Maxwell)

Progress to Date• Develop a Matlab program to calculate the inductance of a

coil.• Allows user to enter coil specification

• Based on these specifications in calculates inner and outer radii

• Integrates the equation in function file(FNF1) to infinity• Uses this value to calculate inductance(L)
