Swarovski - Redifined Brief.

To build interest within the current Swarovski brand targeting towards young urban females, focuusing mainly young fashion designers aged 20-25.

By promoting a complete rebrand of the current Swarovski image towards a modern contemporary vision.

Focussing solely on protional aspects, packaging, branding and model store concept, giving them a more up to date modern feel, attracting a new generation of Swarovski fans.

Producing original pieces of photography that would relate directly to the target audience. Taking the visuals and incorporating them into digital pieces of design media.

The design work would then be used to re-design promotional material, branding, and store identity. We felt that the current interior layout of the Leeds based store to be ineffective in reaching the potential modern female market. This is backed up by initial research that has allowed us to develop of ideas, into a modern proposal incorporating our contemporary style of design.

All of our photography and visu-als throughout have been created using light refraction and digital manipulation. This has allowed us to be extremely experimental throughout the process, which has given us an innovative direction.

Experimenting using refractions of light off various surfaces to create patterns and shapes to incorporate within our design work. Mainly using crystals to refract the light shapes making the images created relevant to the company. Doing so has allowed us to create distinctive, unique pieces of photography.

Our aim was to create a wide range of images that have a deep impact. That could then alternatively be incorporated throughout the design work of the Swarovski brief.

Using the brand was key to some of the strongest visuals we created ,as we felt it would further improve our idea.

Focussing on the branding and promotional material of the com-pany; giving Swarovski a complete new image to the aid the visuals within the store.

Keeping a contemporary modern aesthetic within the designs to bring attention from the target audience.
