Our Group Leader Introduction

Mr. Shiv Kumar - CMD of the Kumar Group of Industries who originally

belongs to the renowned business & freedom fighters' family of Hapur,

Dist. Ghaziabad. He had established the group with the inception of Rice

Mill Industry at Gadarpur in the year 1969 at the age of 18.

His Clarity of vision, dedication, missionary zeal for implementation and

management, monitoring & evaluation and above all the positive &

enthusiastic approach make him different from the other industrialists.

Endowed with rare qualities of head and heart he makes his team move

forward enthusiastically & successfully. He is a friend and guide for his staff

besides being a man of principles having values for honesty, belief for quality

and his approach for continued relations.

He has been honored with "Young Entrepreneur Award" in the year 1983

by the Jaycees and "Largest Exporter Award" in the year 1987 by the

Govt. of Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand.

Keeping in view of his contribution in Socio Economic Development of the

Uttrakhand State, hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri N. D. Tiwari

awarded him "Udyog Ratna" the highest State award for the year 2004-

2005.

On 20th May 2007 ‘Dainik Jagran Group’ a leading National Hindi Newspaper

awarded him with “Kumaon Gaurav, Samman-2007” for his contribution

towards generating employment and economical development of the state.

He is the Founder member & ex-president of KGCCI (Kumaon Garhwal

Chamber of Commerce & Industry)

Presently he is acting as Chairman (Kumaon Zone) of Confederation of

Indian Industry (CII), Dehradun

These virtues have made him the pioneer Industrialist of

Uttarakhand.

production of industrial gasses, crushed stone

products. The group has a present turnover

of Rs 100 crores and a projected turnover

of Rupees 200 crores in similar field within

two years and Rupees 500 crores in the

sectors Education, Real Estate, Organic Fruits &

Vegetables, Floriculture & Health Resorts in

coming five years.
