    GENDER STRUCTURE

In general, the ratio of male is always lower femalebecause of the following reasons: Male chauvinism is main reason that government is having

trend to encourage everyone born female babies tobalance population

At the same time, male babies are often died after theywere born.

The way it is measured by using the formula :

    R atio of female = (Female/Total Female) * 100

    R atio of male = (Male/Total Male) * 100

gradual decline seen over time (it was 4 .44 persons in200 2 , 4 .36 persons in 200 4 and 4 .24 persons in 200 6) . Thistrend was seen in both urban and rural areas, in all regions andfor different income quintiles.

Average household size was higher in rural areas than in urbanareas, higher among poor households than among better off households and higher in mountainous areas than in deltaregions. Household size in the North West and the CentralHighlands is higher than in other regions.

Households in rural areas, poor regions or belonging to thepoorest quintile often have more children yet fewer workersthan households in urban areas, rich regions or householdsbelonging to the richest quintile.

    H IV AIDS

According to the investigation of general statistic office and thegeneral for population family planning, in 200 8 , we can see The ratio of infected people of HMC city is higher than one of HN

capital The ratio infected people of HMC city and Hanoi capital is always

higher than one of a regionThe reason: Modern life make people have open mind, unmethodical sexual

intercourse -> HIV virus can be passed from a person to people fastand wider

In the busy life, the family do not care or little care of their children ->the children do not have a well-educated -> they do not realize

Intellectual standard of Vietnamese is low -> they have not just realizeabout HIV clearly and they have not a right knowledge aboutdangerous of it
