Untill now PT. UTPE has dominated the business in mining
sector, but since 2012 until now all bussiness in mining
sector is in decline as a result of coal low price. Therefore,
it needs a breakthrough to decrease dependency in mining
sector by entering another industrial sector, especially
Airport Ground Support Equipment.

Based on competency which PT UTPE had, actually
there's many gap that can be entered in Ground Support
Equipment market. One of then is to fullfill the needs of
transportation extension equipment such as passenger
stairs for airports need.
PT UTPE is the first company in Indonesia that will make a
passengers Stair as its product, and was never made a
product like this before. two unit have delivered in
december 2015.
Project ini fokus pada design, prototyping, testing and
evaluation.
