Synopsis of Idea (content, narrative, genre)

The animation I’m going to make is going to be an animated story set in a kitchen. It’s going to have the cake mix and eggs going into a bowl, and then it’s going to be poured into cake trays and put in the oven. When the cake mix comes out it will be cupcakes that have animal features. ( example a cat cupcake) All the things in the story will have eyes and mouths to make them stand out and look cute. There will be music in the background but no talking.

Target Audience? (demographic NOT age range)

The target audience will be aimed atChildren, Pre-teens, Young females and anyone who likes animated characters.

Target Audience Needs?

I think the target audience I’ve chose would want to see something they consider to be ‘cute’. Animation also takes the person who is watching it away from reality for a while.

How will your project meet the needs of your target audience? (Make reference to content you think will appeal to your target audience)

I would use bright colours like bright blue, yellow ectto stand out and also appeal to the target audience. The style of the animation will be similar to popular animations such as Sanrio (Hello kitty, Choco Cat). The music I’ll use will be a happy type of music also when you hear it you will think of the animation. The character design will be based on animalsbut with cute facial features.

What production techniques will you use to realise your project?

I would use Adobe Illustrator and Premier Pro. I would draw the story out on story board so I have a rough idea of what is going to happen at what time. I will use Adobe Illustrator to draw out my designs and then use Premiere to make them move.
