Artists Statement:Typography and graphic design as a whole is my looking

glass and my key to the secret garden. Everyone expresses

his or her feelings through a certain way; I for instance express

my feeling through Typography. Everything around me inspires

me in my work from logos to the billboard advertisements that

surrounds the streets of Dubai, the landscapes of Dubai and

the sharp skyscrapers all affect my design and the way I design.

One of the most inspirational type designers and typographer is

Pascal Zoghbi I personally admire his work and find his

typographic work really inspiring that I would always refer to it

when I want to be inspired in typography. see that all of his work

is inspirational and each piece that he designs is special in its

own way and I hope that one day I reach to his level of success.

When designing I first see my surrounding and get the inspiration

that I need so I can produce a good piece of work. As a growing

Graphic designer I try as much as I can in contributing in good

causes and in informative Designs that might one day change

something in the world or perhaps it might inspire someone to

change something.

I designed A whole promotional package and

banners as well as posters and logo for ISEA (

The International Symposium Of Electronic Arts)

which will be held at Zayed University in 2014. I

first started by sketching logo designs and then I

transferred my sketches to illustrator and started

refining it and explored colors. The concept of my

design was to produce a very geomatric shape

and each color in the logo represents the different

personalities and fields of interest that meet in this

conference. This conference attracts many differ-

ent fields that’s what affected my design because

this conference brings people together and that

was the meaning of my logo design that everyone

(represented by different colors) meet in one place

which is the ISEA conference.

“This is Dubai and this is our beloved UAE; it will remain the focus of the world’s attention; it will continue, under its wise leadership and innovative citizens, to be a hub for business and finance; a centre for culture and hu-manitarian works.”Sheikh Mohd Bin Rashid

THE CITY OF LIFE

دبي دار احليWe had a collaborative

project with a group of San

Francisco students and in

this project we had to do a

couple of posters one that

would represent Dubai and

one that would represent San

Francisco, we exchanged

information and we were

asked to research about

San Francisco, we stayed in

touch with each other at all

times. The image that’s in

this page represents Dubai.I

worked on producing it using

illustrator.

ROAD TO THE COMEBACK OF STREET VENDORS

HEALTH REGULATIONS

WEATHER CLEANLINESS

INCONVENIENCE

We live in a very humid and hot area .

In the UAE most of th poplulaation transport via cars thats why people wont be able to stop and take food and they want everything to be delivered to the-m.

the hygiene of the person and the whole place might not be good and this will lead to many unwanted things.

the health regualtors might not be able to contain and regulate all of the vendors

Add surveillance cameras

Unexpected health inspections

Stict system with fines if they disobyed the rules

Some people said that we dont have a space to place the food vendors at.

The carbon from the cars might pollute the food and might cause food poisoning.

THE CHANGEthey can deliver to your car.

you can call and place an order before reaching.

Keep the street vendors in the closed moveable SUV’s.

How to change Whats happening

We designed an info-

graphic about street

vendors in the UAE.
