Final Exam 1st Semester Exams
Final Exams Playing exams will be performed during class during the week of January 14 – 18. This is the week prior to all other final exams. Symphony Orchestra Scales – Honor scales at 100 beats per minute (two major scales plus chromatic) Etude – Honor Orchestra audition excerpt – performed as marked. Sight Reading – A brief sight-reading selection. Concert Orchestra Scales – To be played at one note per bow and at 100 bpm. All scales are two octaves unless noted otherwise.
