Loadyourfilmintotaldarkness.Alwaysloadtworeelsintoyourtank,evenifyouare

onlydevelopingonerolloffilm(withloadedreelonthebottom).

1.Prepareyourchemicals.MixSprintdeveloper1:9.Allotherchemicalsarepre-mixed.

2.Pre-soakfilmwithwaterfor1minute.

3.Developer:RefertoSprinttimechartfordevelopmenttimes.

DevelopTri-XandHP5for10Minutesat68degrees.

Agitatecontinuouslyforfirst30seconds,then10secondseveryminute.

Pourdeveloperdownthechemicalrecoverydrainafteruse.

4.StopBath:30seconds,65-75degrees.Usestraight.

Pourinstopbathandagitatecontinuously.Pourstopbackintocontainerwhen

done.

5.Fixer:5minutes,65-75degrees.UseStraight.

Pourinfixerandagitatecontinuouslyforfirst30seconds,then10secondsevery

minute.Pourfixerbackintotocontainerwhendone.Yourfilmisnowfixed,you

mayremovethelidfromyourtank.

6.Rinsewithwaterfor2minutesat68degrees.

7.FixerRemover:2minutes,65-75degrees.Usestraight.

Pourinfixerremoverandagitatecontinuouslyforfirst30seconds,then

occasionallyforrestoftime.Pourfixerremoverbackintotocontainerwhen

done.

8.Washfilmfor5minutesat68degrees.Monitorwatertemperatureandflow.

9.EndRun:1minute.Usestraight.

PourinEndRunandagitategentlyfor1minute.PourEndRunbackintotocontainerwhendone.

10.Dry:CAREFULLYremovefilmfromreelsandhangtodryinfilmdryingcabinet.Your

filmwillbeVERYdelicatewhenwet,sohandleitwithcare.Holdyourfilmbythe

edgesortheendswheretherearenoimages.Yourfilmwillbedryinaboutan

hour.

11.CutandSleeve:Putyourfilmonthelighttableandcutitintostripsandputthem

intonegativesleeves.Ifyouareusing35-7Bsleeves,cutyourfilmintostripsof

fivenegatives.
