LESSON 6 - Main Activity- Throwing a Beanbag:Lesson focus: To develop the basic technique of underarm throwing.Introduce the underarm technique. Face forwards, hold object in cupped hand, palm up, thumb pressed on top, swing arm forward close to body in a straight line, release object at appropriate point, follow through should point at target, step forward onto opposite foot as arm swings through, line up object and target before throwing.Use a baseline and throw into a hoop or up to a marker 1m away. Repeat with the hoop/marker 2m away, then 3m away to test both distance and accuracy.
