Hey everyone,

Hooray, it’s the last week of home learning before we all get to be together again. Mrs Williams and I are so excited to see you all on Monday, only 7 more sleeps.

This week we have got 2 new sounds to learn in read and write and in Maths this week we are learning 2 new numbers; numbers 9 and 10.Our topic this week continuous from the transport topic last week, we will learn about how trains used to look a long time ago and how they look now.

Topic/challengeThis week we will think about journeys we have been on and look at extended family.

Activity- To design your own 2D or 3D shape train.

In this lesson with Miss Hughes, we consider how transport has changed over the years and identify differences in steam and electric trains. We end this lesson by designing a train made of 2D shapes. If you want a challenge, you could use 3D shapes to make a train model.
