Why is it important to SARTS?

•This is an International event to commemorate 100 years of scouting in Singapore

•2000 to 3000 Scouts from many countries will be in Singapore

•The scouts movement has had a relationship with SARTS spanning more than 40 years

•We NEED the exposure

Station A:Introduction to Amateur Radio

•Several Videos•Slide Shows

Station B:Communication methods of interest to scouts and outdoor enthusiasts:•Morse Code (with practice)•Simple line comms with mic and ear piece (e.g. as used in cave exploration)

Simple Scout Quiz:•Estimate height of comms tower without climbing up

Amateur Radio Stations:

•HF•VHF•Walkie Talkie
