Dear Friends,

I am very pleased to invite you All to attend our next

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS (all styles) regarding our best

CADETS and JUNIORS, that will be held in JESOLO LIDO

(Venice), ITALY, at the sport hall “PALAZZO DEL TURISMO”,

where WAKO already hosted a Senior European

Championship in 2002. The World Championships will be

held from 15th to 23rd SEPTEMBER 2018.

I would like to thank the promoters of this new edition of the World Championships for

Cadets and Juniors, Mr. Nicola Traina and Mrs. Barbara Falsoni. The event is

supported and organized in cooperation with the Italian Kickboxing Federation

(FIKBMS), a big thanks to Mr. Donato Milano, FIKBMS President, and to all other

members of the local Organizing Committee!

As everybody knows very well Italy does have a long tradition and experience in the

organization of such big WAKO Championships, so I’m sure once again everybody

will have the opportunity to enjoy a new marvellous experience in that country in the

name of FAIR PLAY and SPORT. Young athletes represent the future of kickboxing, the

local and WAKO Organizing Committee will certainly do their best and will be at

disposal during the whole period of the Championship to make the main event of

the year memorable as Cadets and Juniors deserve, for their great passion, sacrifices

and dedication towards this sport, such as all other people involved among officials,

coaches, supporters, referees and judges ecc.

Jesolo is a seaside town, close to Venice, in September the weather is normally still

quite nice on that final summer period, for this reason all competitors, officials, fans

and families may take the opportunity to spend also a pleasant week discovering

local attractions of Veneto region that are strongly reccommended.

We expect record numbers once again this year, so please register your team early

and we look forward hosting you all in Jesolo!

magnificent event, a flagship of WAKO and for the

Italian Federation. The World Championship for

Cadets and Juniors has always been an high level

sport event, from a cultural, social and relational

point of view. It represents for all of us a great

satisfying and joyful moment.

The World Championship dedicated to the young

athletes of kickboxing produces an extraordinary

quantity of continuous emotions, it is a fantastic educational and cultural model of

social cohesion among people, BEYOND all barriers created unfairly by man. This

huge event has great value, in a spirit of fair play and healthy competition, where

young participants will have the opportunity not only of fighting learning to

challenge each other while respecting the rules, but also of socializing, meeting and

striking up new friendships. A great occasion also for us as adults to be an example of

correctness, loyalty, friendship to all young competitors, in a spirit of SPORT for ALL!

I wish All Cadets and Juniors to enjoy the World Championship in Jesolo and many

greetings to the numerous fans supporting and watching the competitions, with the

again this beautiful area of Veneto

It is time to get back there! Jesolo

Lido is on the seaside, so that you can

enjoy not only the World Championships for Cadets & Juniors (all disciplines) that we

are preparing for you in the best possible way, but also the atmosphere and main

local attractions of the town and region during that closing summer season period. In

fact the WAKO World Championships for Cadets & Juniors 2018 will take place from

15th to 23rd September 2018. Italy has a very long tradition in promoting international

events and, as usual, Italian Kickboxing Federation (FIKBMS) and its people, in

cooperation with us as main promoters of the event, will do our very best to offer you

all a memorable event!

Palazzo del Turismo in Jesolo will be the sport hall chosen for this great event, it will

be perfectly equipped with 8 tatamis and 3 rings. The sport-hall offers large spaces

for training and warming up, it is located not very far away from Jesolo downtown

and it is there that registration, weigh in and medical control will be held upon arrival

of the teams on very first days.

LIVING IN JESOLO

Jesolo, a modern city. Organized and

redesigned by the internationally acclaimed

Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, new

realizations are distributed along the city.

The area features modern facilities tailored to

the needs of its guests and provides ample

parking. Fifteen kilometres of golden beach

and twelve kilometres of Jesolo’s pedestrian

walkways, the longest in Europe rub along the

coast, lighting up as if by magic after eight in

the evening. Jesolo is also very close to the

Heritage Site, with its northern appendix that

creeps into the territory of Jesolo between the

AQUALANDIA An island of themed entertainment, it features 26 water attractions (including the highest slide

SEA LIFE A real marine park, featuring thirty large tanks hosting 5000 specimens belonging to more

The availability of rooms are limited, therefore to make your reservation earlier in

advance is highly recommended!

Availabilities and prices are guaranteed until 31st of May 2018.

Cancellation policy:

- For cancellations occurring before 13th June 2018 there is no cancellation fee,

only 5% of the prepaid amount will be kept as a bankfee;

for free of charge.

During this period, in case of cancellation of ALL rooms under the same

WAKO shall receive an entry fee for each competing team and/or competitor:

Euro 50,00 per person and per division – Euro 200,00 per team entry.

It is mandatory payment of the entry fees in advance by bank transfer only to be

Please kindly note that the amount to be paid must be in Euro.

Please note that amount received must be fully paid, any bank charges or eventual

provision due to the currency exchange is on your expenses.

Any eventual difference of the amount received on WAKO bank account will be

charged on your Federation/Association and requested to be covered on spot.

Payments of the entry fees by cash in EUR will have to be communicated earlier in

advance to WAKO Administration – [email protected] and will be accepted

at the moment of registration by the Chief of Delegation only under written

communication and proof of evidence that wire transfer is not possible to be

executed.

Flag and National Anthem

Each participating countries must bring 2 (two) flags, size 90 x 130 cm and a

CD/pendrive/portable drive with their National Anthem. The flag and

CD/pendrive/portable drive are needed to be handed in at the registration and will

be returned to each participating countries after the competition.







Anti-Doping

It is strictly forbidden to take any illegal stimulants that are against the rules of the

WAKO Anti-Doping Regulations. WAKO will have anti-doping tests on randomly

chosen participants. Each participants found positive by test will be sanctioned

according to the WAKO General Rules and the WADA Code.
