How are cabins decided?
Each student will complete a card with the names of three friends that he/she would like to bunk with at camp.
This will be completed during science class.
Each student is guaranteed one friend from the list, however; we try to accommodate as many friends as possible.
Cabins will be announced the morning of Nov. 2 before we leave for camp.
Chaperone children will be in a cabin with their parents unless they are the opposite gender. For instance, the mom of a boy will be in charge of a cabin of girls, but her cabin with be grouped with her son during the day.
Monday, Nov. 2
Make sure your luggage is labeled with your first and last name. This should be a large label, such as a strip of tape.
Students should report to the white top (community room if weather is inclement) by 7:45 AM with your luggage and backpack.
As students enter, they will drop their luggage off at their cabin. Be sure to get a cabin label from your chaperone.
Students will then report to the gym (with their backpack) until a 5th grade teacher picks them up.
When the bell rings, all parents will be asked to leave except for chaperones.
We will load busses beginning at 8:20 and leave at 8:30.
While at Camp:
Orientation
We will attend four classes: Limnology Forces in Nature Expeditions Orienteering
Recreation Time Café Sky Camp Store Various Outdoor
Activities
Evening Activities: Night at the Livery Campfire
Wednesday, Nov. 4 We will be leaving Sky
Ranch by 12:30 PM.
Expected arrival at school is 2:30-2:45 PM.
All students will be required to help carry luggage to the piles in the courtyard between the building and gym.
Please do not try to take your child at that time. We need to account for every child before they are dismissed.
Students will be released based on the note included in their camp packet. If plans change, please call the office.
Please be patient during dismissal. Our focus will be keeping students safe.
At this time, students will be dismissed to parents from the coutyard. Any changes to this plan will be communicated in advance through e-mail and/or phone tree.
Medications

A form must be completed for each medication that your child needs to take at camp. The forms should be brought to school with the medication.
