* Description: For field experience, a minimum of ten (10) hours of participation and observation in an

Field Studies Furr, Dewey 12 * Description: Students will engage in a total of eight visits to a local elementary school with each visit
approximately an hour and a half in duration. Students will spend their time in a classroom setting and are
expected to be involved in the classroom activity as directed and needed by the teacher. This may include

document their experiences through a series of writing assignments examining different aspects of the
school setting. In addition to the school site experience, students will also complete other assignments
