Fiberdyne Labs new TerraFlow Bend-Insensitive Entrance Cable is settingthe standard for CATV/MSO outdoorfiber optic service. Customer
bandwidth demands are driving highfiber count densities in outdoorenclosures and nodes. As densityincreases fiber optic bend radiusbecomes a major installation and
support issue!
The new TerraFlow Bend Insensitive Entrance Cable fiber has a bend radiusspecification of less than 0.3”. Standard SMF28e fiber has a minimum bendradius of 0.6”. This improved radius allows for very compact installations withvery professional fiber management, minimizing outages and support costs. The TerraFlow solution is provided with weatherproof anodized solidaluminum housing with a 5/8" rotational nut, for very easy installation (cablingdoes not need to be rotated during the install process).
FC/APC or SC/APC connectors are available featuring low insertion loss andback reflection of better than -65dB. Fiberdyne utilizes the latest polishing andtest equipment with guaranteed certified results.
