Lessons learnt in Prague:

In 2007, DPP changed its approach to infrastructure.

• The new approach is based on the following pillars: reduce reconstruction and maintenance duration/service

disruptions introduction of new technologies for track construction more accent on predictive maintenance quicker adaptation of infrastructure for new rolling stock emphasis on low maintenance costs and low life cycle costs
