Sir/Madam,

3. The Permission is valid for one year and for admitting only one batch of 50-100 students duringthe academic year 2019-20. The next batch of students in MBBS course will be admitted in the collegeonly after permission of Board of Governors in supersession of the MCI for renewal/recognition.

4. The Government Medical Colleges (except those located in J & K States) shall contribute 15% ofMBBS seats for which the renewal permission is granted for all lndia quota.

5. Admissions made in violation of the above condition will be treated as irregular and action willbe initiated under IMC Act & Regulations made there under.

5. Discrepancies, if any, may be immediately brought to the notico of the Board of Governors insupcr':cssiorr of the MCI and the State Govt.

I am directed to refer to tle Provisions of the Constitution Amendment (OneHundred and Third Amendment) Act, 2019 dated 12.01.2019 for implementation ofreservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) in admission to educationallnstitutions for the academic year 2019-20 and BoG-MCl's lener No.MCl_34(4lXEWSy20l9 -l4dJ 122349 dated (X/06 June, 20 t9 seekint applications from theMedical Colleges/lnstitutions for increase of MBBS seats ro implemenr EWS quota and to saythat BoG-MCl after considering the applications, vide tetter No.MCl-34(.1 I)(EWS)/201 9-MedJl253l9-20 dated 20.06.2019 submitted a proposal to the Ministr), containing thenames of Medical Colleges with permitted MBBS seats under EWS quoc' for 2019-20.

2 After carefully considerint rhe maner, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare hasaccepted the proposal of the BoG-MCl and hereby directs the Counselling Authorities(Sates/UTs/AlQ) for filling up the MBBS seas under EWS quota as per rules in fonhcomingacademic year 2019-20.
