® Certification MattersTBLS’ 2016 Induction CeremonyOn Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm CT, 206 attorneys and 25 paralegals will be recognized at this year’s Induction Ceremony taking place at the Frank Erwin Center — 1701 Red River St. Austin, TX 78701. If you’re one of TBLS’ honorees this year, this is an event you don’t want to miss.

This year’s event will feature several guest speakers from around the state, and will also have a special farewell to TBLS Executive Director Gary McNeil who is retiring this year.

TBLS will also recognize this year’s Tom Garner Award recipient James E. Byrom, Board Certified since 1990 in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Law. TBLS gives this recognition each year to a volunteer who has made extraordinary contributions to the certification program.

Justice Philip W. Johnson, Supreme Court of Texas, will administer the Oath this year.

In addition, Pierpont Communication’s Senior Vice President, Stacy Armijo, will be sharing best practices in PR and marketing for new Board Certified attorneys.

Before the ceremony, attorneys can pick up their certificates and take professional headshots at no cost. Refreshments and food will also be provided after the ceremony. And, make sure to use #TXBoardCertified during the event!
