b reak out of the brush fire last Sunday week, Mrs. Herman A. Johnson, Alpine Hgts Road, was hospita1i zed for treatment of nasty wo unds when a dog tore her right hand as she was putting her own dog in. the car.

Th ree tendons and arteries were tor n and she los t much blood but ;fortunately is now on the mend. The dog_ is quarantined for 14 days.

The fire was quickly extinguished by the Alfine truck which had been on p atro duty .most of the time since the fire started Saturday.
