Sognefjord is the longest and deepest fjord in Norway, and divides into several fjord arms. Two of them are our special area! In order to get closer to nature, we use fast open RIB boats. This is an excellent way to experience the Aurlandsfjord and the Unesco listed Nærøyfjord.

We dress you in floatation suits, goggles and hats, so you will stay warm during the FjordSafari. You are ensured a personal experience with maximum of 12 guests in each boat, where everyone is seated facing forward in the boat for the best view.

Your guide will make stops along the way to share local history and stories, and give a unique insight to the life along the fjord.

On our RIB tours you can experience the Unesco listed fjord area, the charming village of Undredal, Stigen, Sagfossen water fall (this is the Basic tours turning point), the villages Dyrdal and Styvi, Bakka village at the narrowest part of the fjord (200m across), and Gudvangen at the end of the fjord. We also spot for seals. eagles and porpoises along the way.

HERITAGE TASTE FJORDSAFARITHE NÆRØYFJORD AND GOATCHEESE TASTINGExperience the Nærøyfjord and visit the charming village Undredal. Our turning point is Gudvangen similar to the Heritage tour. We go ashore in Undredal, a small village squeezed in between tall mountains. The specialty of this village is the production of goat cheese. You will taste brown and white goat cheese and hear about the tradition of cheese production.

Me kombinerer båttur i Nærøyfjorden med eit besøk i den vesle geitebygda Undredal. Bygda ligg idyllisk til nede ved fjorden omringa av høge fjell. Me får smaksprøvar av den verdsberømte kvite og brune geitosten og høyre om tradisjonane med stølsdrift og geitehald.

SKJERDAL – LEIM, AN ADVENTURE The tour starts with a Basic Fjordsafari which takes you to the spectacular waterfall Sagfossen in the Nærøyfjord. We turn around and head back to the Aurlandsfjord and the pier in Skjerdal. Here we start the hike up to the mountain farm, Leim.

We follow a steep path from the pier up to the road that continue all the way to Skjerdal Farm. We walk the old farm road from Skjerdal to our destination, Leim. You can enjoy amazing views of the fjord and mountains and see beautiful waterfalls along the way.

At Leim you will get a guided tour of the farm and an introduction to the production of goat cheese. You will be served a delicious lunch on the terrace based on local produce and goat cheese, and you can enjoy the beautiful view while you eat. There will be plenty of time to see the goats and admire the view before we hike back down to Skjerdal, where the minivan is waiting to take you back to Flåm.

Good walking shoes and ordinary outdoor clothing is essential for the hike (we recommend a waterproof jacket). Generally good fitness is needed for the steep hike from 0 – 360 meters of altitude, however no prior knowledge is required. Bring a bottle of water and don’t forget your camera!

EIT STØLSEVENTYRTuren startar med ein Basic Fjordsafari som har snupunkt ved Sagfossen, der ein har flott utsikt innover den imponerande Nærøyfjorden. Me vender attende på andre sida av fjorden. I Aurlandsfjorden legg me til bryggja i Skjerdal. Der startar fotturen opp til geitestølen Leim. På Leim er det omvisning og innføring i produksjon av geitost. Etterpå nyt me lunsj ute på terrassen med ostesmaking til forrett og hovudrett basert på lokale og eigne råvarar. Det vert tid til å nyta utsikta og helsa på geitene før me tek turen ned igjen til Skjerdal. Der ein vert henta med buss tilbake til Flåm.

HIKING IN THE AURLAND VALLEY Join our local guides on a historical hike down the Aurland valley! This valley was an early route between the east and the west of Norway, and was used all the way back from the Viking age up until about 1900. You will be surrounded by majestic mountains, beautiful waterfalls, old farms and a rich flora.The Aurland valley is a popular, however demanding hiking tour that requires attention to where you walk. The mountain farm Sinjarheim is a perfect location for a rest and some food, while you enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Good walking shoes and ordinary outdoor clothing is essential for the hike (we recommend a waterproof jacket). Good physical fitness is required!

Turen ned dalen er som ei reise gjennom historia som dei lokale guidane gjerne deler. Omkransa av majestetiske fjell kan du nyte utsikta mot fossefall, gamle gardsbruk og ein rik flora. På fjellstølen Sinjarheim er det fint å ta seg ein pust i bakken, få med seg litt sol og stifte bekjentskap med tobeinte og firebeinte. Ein bør vera i god fysisk form for å gjennomføra turen.

FLÅM VALLEY – FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE FJORD Join us on a tour through the history of the spectacular Flåm valley. We take the world famous Flåm Railway to Myrdal, and during the 20 km long train journey you will see some of the most magnificent Norwegian scenery. The steep climb and the manmade tunnels are proof of some of the most skillful engineering carried out in Norwegian railway history. On the way back down to the fjord, your guide will tell you the history of the many mountain farms you pass.You can enjoy the spectacular waterfalls and the silence and beauty of the valley. In Kårdalen you find Rallarrosa mountain farm where you can meet the goats and have something to eat.

Den bratte stigninga er prov på noko av den mest kyndige ingeniørkunsten som er utførd i norsk jernbanehistorie. På turen ned vil guiden fortelje deg om historia til dei mange fjellgardane ein passerer, og ein kan nyta utsikta og dei mange spektakulære fossane ein passerar. På Rallarrosa stølsysteri i Kårdalen er det mogleg å helsa på dei mange geitene og kjøpa seg noko å eta. Turen kan også gjennomførast på sykkel.

Prest, Hovdongo, Rimstigen and Bakkanosi are summits that offer great view of the breathtaking fjord landscape. With our local guides you will experience another side of the world heritage area. You can enjoy the view towards Flåm or Gudvangen, or have a glimpse of the peaks of Jotunheimen in the distance. These hikes are the full experience from the mountains to the fjord.

We can arrange activities and exciting team challenges for small or large groups. This is a nice addition to conferences or other events, and we tailor activities adapted to your group. We recommend combining 5 activities and spend about 1,5 hours on this. These activities can also be combined with a FjordSafari or beer tasting at Ægir Brewery. Lat oss skreddarsy aktivitetar for di gruppe. Lag aktivitetar er eit fint tillegg til konferansar eller andre tilstellingar der formålet er å bli betre kjent og styrke samhaldet. «OVER BEKKEN ETTER VATN»Deltakarane står i ring, i midten er det plassert to bøtter, ei med og ei utan vatn. Laget får utdelt tau og stokkar. Utfordringa er å få vatnet frå den eine bøtta over i den andre.

TEIKNESERIELaga får utdelt kvar si rute frå ein krimteikne-serie som vert festa på ryggen. Utfordringa vert å setja saman teikneserien i rett rekkjefølgje og å løyse mysteriet. Dette passar for mindre grupper.

STAFETT MED VATNOppgåva er å fylla opp ein sylinder med vatn. Deltakarane må bruka kreativiteten for korleis dei skal frakte vatn frå fjorden og opp i sylinderen. Oppgåva går på tid.

KVADRATHer må laget jobba saman munnleg for å danna eitt kvadrat ved hjelp av tau. Ein får utdelt briller med tape over så ingen ser kva dei gjere. Med hjelp av god kommunikasjon skal dei forma seg til eitt kvadrat med eitt tau mellom.

HINDERLØYPEHer vert to og to deltakarar knytt saman og dei må ilag komme seg gjennom hinderløypa. Aktiviteten går på tid. Utfordringa er balanse, samspel og tillit.

SAUEGJETINGEit medlem av laget tek rolla som gjetar og resten er sauer. Gjetarens oppgåve er å gjeta flokken som har bind for auga inn i ein binge med hjelp av eit spesielt kommunikasjonssystem, lydar.

OLJEPLATTFORMLaget skal prøve seg som byggearbeidarar. Det skal byggast ei oljeplattform med hjelp av det du finn i naturen, tannstikker og marshmallows. Den høgaste og stødigaste oljeplattforma vinn.

Dette er forslag til aktivitetar, og me set saman ein kombinasjon av aktivitetar som passar for di gruppe. Andre alternativ finnes for vinter teambuilding. Kontakt oss for eit tilbod!

WINTER FJORDSAFARI Experience the UNESCO world heritage area and the charming little village Undredal during the wintertime. This tour includes hot drinks and the possibility to sample the famous goat cheese in Undredal.

EVENING WALK WITH ÆGIR VIKING DINNER Experience Flåm on a quiet and pleasant evening walk. Enjoy views of snow-capped peaks, the still fjord and fresh winter air. Availability: November 1st – December 15th + February 1st – May 31st. (NB! Combination available with snowshoe hike only from February 1st – April 14th. From April 15th – May 31st it will be a Heritage Fjordsafari.)
