Featuring a cast of up to 60 local school children, the actor/directors of Missoula Children’s Theater put together a full- length musical show in just one week. Built on a lush 250-acre campus on the bluffs of the Straight River in Faribault, our collegiate stone buildings are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Greg Herriges is a renegade guitarist who fuses Eastern and Western world music on a variety of acoustic instruments. This special concert includes Tim Sparks’ acclaimed guitar rendering of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite”.

* Dakota Dave Hull AdulTS $15, STudenTS $9 ThurSdAy, OcTOber 24, 2013 Best known as an old school Americana acoustic guitarist, Dakota Dave Hull is a Minnesota musical treasure. “ Hull is something of a guitar god in his native midwest, where he’s been dazzling audiences for over 30 years with his lush finger-picking

and quicksilver flat-picking. He is also a sly raconteur with an encyclopedic knowledge of vintage American music.” - The Boston Globe.

Critics have dubbed her “a banjo-playing soul-singer” and “a rocking, rolling encyclopedia of roots music.” – Wikipedia. She is joined by Barbara Jean, an Americana-folk singer-songwriter

from Grand Marais playing banjo, fiddle and viola.

AdulTS $15, STudenTS $9ThurSdAy, MArch 13, 2014Considered one of the world’s leading guitar ensembles since its founding in 1986, the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet joins with pipa virtuoso Gao Hong to perform a new work for quartet and pipa. The pipa (Chinese lute) is an ancient instrument with a history that spans two thousand years. The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet and Gao Hong took this program on tour to China in the summer of 2013.

reD Molly AdulTS $15, STudenTS $9ThurSdAy, April 3, 2014Critics are putting this female Americana trio in the company of The Wailin’ Jennys and The Roches. A Red Molly concert features gorgeous a cappella ballads, bluegrass-tinged folk and a touch of jazzy western swing, all done in Red Molly’s trademark three-part harmonies, signature dobro licks and inventive arrangements. This is music that is exciting, optimistic and joyful!
