FENTIL: Another Life
"Fentil: Another Life" marks a milestone as the first alien wildlife documentary not filmed in our Solar System - documenting a new specimen of complex life in the universe around us. It will be filmed in the traditional nature documentary style. This is an tremendous opportunity.
Discovered in 2253, Fentil is one of 5 larger-than-Earth moons orbiting a huge
rocky planet tentatively called Olympus. Fentil has gravity stronger than that of
Earth, a thicker atmosphere, and once roughly every 4 Earth-months, it is eclipsed
by Olympus, shrouding the moon in total darkness for weeks.
Scientists have been studying Fentil for almost half a decade and still the public
know very little about this strange place. Like all of the great documentarians
before us, our film aims to educate the public about the weird and wonderful
things that nature can produce.

FENTIL
Fentil is a large moon. A moon that harbors life.It orbits a much larger planet called Olympus.
Plants on Fentil are blue, and for the majority grow outwards as opposed to upwards.By far the most common large plants on Fentil are the Tile Tops.
Tile Top plains form the majority of the surface of mediterranean continents, their huge blue caps tessellating together to form a continuous, stable surface on which all kinds of animals feed and are fed upon.
3
Platehead
Seasonal grazers on the Tile Top plains, Plateheads migrate to these vast blue mediterranean flats in colossal numbers. Such a large number of animals in one place attracts predators, and these animals are preyed on by many numbers of predators.
They feed using a small mouth at the end of their tail, which rasps at the Tile Top caps.

Bright Eye
Lone hunters and devoted parents. They lack jaws, and use two tube-like probosces to core flesh from its prey. Their head is only for storing their probosces, and their brain is located in their neck.Bright-eyes have spring-like compressors in their legs which help them save energy when running.
They are named for the bio-luminescent patches on their head, which are used in communication, like those of a firefly.

Spear Dropper
Spear Droppers are from a group of Fentil animals that use a large gas bag of hydrogen in their body to stay aloft. They feed like Earth’s spiders - drinking a pre-digested ‘soup’ of their prey’s organs and muscle.

Unlike other inflatogastrates, they lack any sharp beak or mandible to administer digestive enzymes into their prey - and cannot feed on their own. For this, they employ the use of the ‘Spears’.

Octopids
Small flying animals that scavenge on other animal’s kills. Their long black antennae on the rear of their body pick up the scent of flesh. They fly with their stiff, webbed legs.
They are small scavengers and travel in swarms to make finding carcasses easier. The white cap contains the lungs and helps them blend in with Platehead wounds.
