WHAT ARE FENNEC FOXES?

Fennec foxes are very cute animals. They are the smallest foxes in the world, but their large ears are 15 centimetres!!! Fennec foxes dwell in the sandy Sahara or elsewhere in North Africa. Their nocturnal habits help them cope with the really hot weather in the desert.

Big ears that circulate blood to keep them warm.

Thick fur on their feet to protect them from the hot sand.

They also have long hair to keep them warm on cold nights.
