Introduction

Feng Shui is ancient art of living in harmony with nature. By strategically placing different object at various places and allowing the energy or chi to circulate freely.

Feng Shui is not mysterious, on the other hand many of the technique or tips make lot of sense and are valid in many culture across the land.

Cleanliness is Next to Godliness is something we have heard many times and it is followed in many culture across countries, this is also true in Feng Shui.

Unfortunately there are many schools of Feng Shui and each one says they are the best. Each one uses lot of Chinese words thinking that this is the best way to impress peoples.

Feng Shui is simple and sweet.

You will find about 40,000 (forty thousand) Feng Shui cures, but hardly about 20 or 30 are valid ones. Every thing is sold as Feng Shui cures for example in India Pendant with Ying & Yang symbol is sold and positive energy giving pendant.

Most of the Feng Shui cures are sold as positive energy giving ones, but they are hardly worth it.

Before we go further, let us remember that Feng Shui is originated from the villages of china.

Chinese sages believed that if a person can create harmony in the 9 (nine) areas of his life , then life will be smooth, harmonious and full of peace.

Feng Shui promises only peace & harmony. Other things like prosperity etc are bi-product of these energies (peace & harmony).

But look at any advertisement for Feng Shui.

Use things available in your home for cure as far as possible.

How to Calculate Your Good & Bad Directions

This number is Called KUA

To calculate your KUA number, all the information you need is in your year of birth (According to Chinese Ten Thousand Year Calendar) and the gender.

Formula is Different for Males & Females born before 2000 and is little different for person born after 2000.

Formula Steps Males born till 1999

1. Take the Last Two Digits of your Birth Year

2. ADD them

3. If the Answer if More Than 9 then Keep Adding Then till you get answer in Single Digit – KUA(1)

4. Subtract KUA(1) From 10 this is called KUA

5. If KUA is 5 (Five) then simply take 2 as KUA Number

6. KUA is Your KUA Number

1) Male born in 19742) 7 + 4 = 11 3) 1+1 = 2 ( Since 11 in step 1 is more than 9 )4) 10 – 2 = 8 5) KUA Number is 8

1) Male born in 1950 2) 5 + 0 = 53) 10 – 5 = 5 4) Take KUA Number as 8 . Step 3 is giving KUA

6. KUA Number in Step 5 is Your KUA Number

Example:

1) Female born in 19742) 7 + 4 = 11 3) 1+1 = 2 ( Since 11 in step 1 is more than 9 )4) 5+ 2 = 7 5) KUA Number is 7

3) Female born in 1963 1) 6 + 3 = 92) 5+9 = 14 again 1+4 = 5 3) Take KUA Number as 2 ((See Step 5 of Formula Steps) .

Now Take your Birth Date and Check the Birth Year According to the Chinese Year Table

Say your birth date is 16th Feb 1950. According to the table above Chinese Year 1950 starts from 17th Feb. 1950. In this case your Birth Year is 1949 and not 1950.

Now revised Birth date will be 16-Feb-1949 according to Chinese calendar. Take 1949 as Birth year and do the calculations

Check your Birth Date with Chinese Year Table especially if your date is in the Month of January & February.

Chinese Year 1950 starts from Feb 17,1950 and not from Jan 1,1950. Therefore 17-Feb-1950 is 1st day of Chinese Year 1950 Month 1st and so on.

After Calculating your KUA Number then What?.

Each KUA Number have 4 (Four) Good Directions & 4 ( Four) Bad Directions. Once you know your KUA Number, check from table below the 4 good & 4 bad directions.

How to use Good Directions:

You should sit facing your good direction and while sleeping your head must face your good directions, and it goes without saying AVOID Bad Directions.

Make business call or any important facing your good direction.

Each direction has got a name for which it is best direction.

Try to use your good directions only.
