-Failure to grow & gain weight either from birth or after a period of normal physical development.
-2-3 months to 3rd year of life -Organic & non-organic type
-A form of physical abuse or neglect -Social & family background
-Temperament -Management

-Eating non-eatable element
-MR
-Chronic deprivation
-Iron & zinc deficiency
-Lead poisoning
Obesity
-Over 90th centile ( 20% over expected weight ) -Overprotected mother
-Distress -Depression
-Low self-esteem -Family counseling
-CBT -Support
-Psychological assessment prior to surgical intervention.
Anorexia Nervosa
-Failure to gain weight -Delayed menarche
-8-13 years of age -Dieting
-Group of girls -Familial tendency
-Refusal of womanhood -Part of OCD presentation
-Depressive disorder -AN program
-Dynamic therapy -CBT
