FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution

FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution is a contractual service that allows you to send multiple pieces in a consolidated shipment from a single location in an origin country to multiple recipients in a single destination country.

• Goods are shipped as one electronically consolidated shipment consigned from you, the shipper. The shipment clears customs with one consolidated Commercial Invoice (CCI) using a single international master air waybill (MAWB). Following customs clearance, FedEx deconsolidates the shipment and distributes packages to the final recipients.

• Clearance documents do not travel with the actual shipment but travel separately as a FedEx International Priority® shipment.

• Shipments must contain at least two packages, also referred to as child reference numbers (CRNs).

• An importer of record (IOR) is required in the destination country.

• FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution is referred to as IPD on shipping labels, documents and FedEx Ship Manager screens.

• Go to fedex.com for a list of origin and destination countries.

Size and Weight

Shipments can be mixed and may consist of loose packages, skids or pallets up to 9,998 packages per shipment.

• The minimum weight for an individual package is 0.5 lbs. The maximum weight is 2,200 lbs. or the destination country’s limit.

• The maximum size for an individual package is 108” in length, 70” in height and 130” in length plus girth.

• The maximum size for a single skid or pallet is 119” in length, 70” in height and 300” in length plus girth.

Labels and Packaging

• Shippers use their own packaging.

• Each package in the shipment must have a FedEx bar-coded shipping label.

• The consolidated shipment must include the MAWB label.

• Refer to Prepare the Shipment for Pickup in this User Guide for more information.
