Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers Clubs 2018-2019 Annual Report of Clubs ABILENE We had 39 members for the 2018-2019 year. Our fundraising efforts enabled us to award two $1000 scholarships to students in our area, as well as eight Barnes and Nobles bookstore scholarships. We also donated $100 to four different student organizations. The organizations receiving those donations included Brotherhood of Aggie Mentors (BAM), Build, Carpool, and Breakaway. This year we had a surprise donation of $750 from an Old Ag, Dwayne Canada ‘69. Our club is donating the gift back as an additional one time scholarship for the students in our area. Graduating seniors were honored with a ring crest with his/her year of graduation. In July, we hosted a Howdy Party, inviting new Aggies and their parents to come meet one another and begin forming their own Aggie network. Special guest, Former Yell Leader - Keith Chapman '71 shared Aggie stories and lead us all in yells. We invited current students to attend and answer questions as well as give tips and advice to the new students. The students met separately from the parents. While the students were meeting, board members shared their own words of wisdom and advice to the new Aggie parents and had our own question and answer session. We had some great programs this year. We enjoyed guest speaker, James Decker ’06 sharing with us about the Rural Entrepreneurship program at Texas A&M. Mr. Norm Archibald spoke to us about Aggie traditions and his experience at TAMU. Local Aggie couple, Jason and Jessica from Vagabond Pizza, told us the story of how their business came to be. We also went to Painting with a Twist and painted the Aggie Barn on Hwy 6 with our own Aggie touch. In addition our club enjoyed making our Aggies Finals Survival Kits, a fun Christmas ornament exchange and hosting a boutique shower. Our fundraiser each year is our boutique raffle for our “Apartment Set Up.” We sell $1 tickets for a chance to win approximately $1500 of apartment necessities: handmade quilt, dishes, towles, silverware, toaster, rugs, etc all with a little Aggie influence! ALVIN The Alvin Aggie Mom’s Club had 15 members for the 2018-2019 calendar year. We started off the year with a painting social where we painted Texas shaped plaques or footballs with A&M colors at a local art studio. In December we held our Alvin Aggie Moms Christmas party with a white elephant give exchange and kicked off our raffle ticket sales to raise money for scholarships. In February 2019 we had a Valentine Cookie decorating social. We also sold water and soft drinks as the Alvin Food Truck Frenzy in March and April to bring more community awareness to the Alvin Aggie Mom's group.

The Alvin Aggie Mom’s Club successfully raised funds via our annual raffle ticket sales and Texas A&M Jewelry sales. As a result, we will be able to award Scholarships to students from the Alvin High School and Manvel High School for a total amount of $4,000 for deserving incoming Texas A&M freshmen.

In January, we had a dinner at Abuelo's for our Aggie students that were home for Christmas break. This year's guest speaker was Taylor Moore, a graduate of Texas A&M.

Memorable Programs: At our September meeting, we had a BBQ sandwich meal before the meeting to allow time for new and old members to get acquainted.

ARIZONA Our club strives to support the needs of Arizona Aggies. We completed our fifth year as a club. In July 2018, we awarded $9250 in scholarships (10 students received $925).

We had 20 members for the 2018-2019 year. Our garage sale efforts this year yielded proceeds of $444. Additionally, we earned $452.84 from a Kendra Scott sponsored event, $342.54 from corporate donation matching from a third party, and $150 from a private donation. Our April 2019 golf tournament resulted in a profit of $7,543.43.

Our fundraising efforts allowed our club to donate $100 to the Big Event and sponsor food for the Parsons Mounted Cavalry (PMC) as they passed through Arizona enroute to their march in the 2019 Rose Bowl Parade. Providing food and a warm Arizona Aggie welcome to the PMC was one of the highlights of our year! We look forward to being able to donate $8,800 in scholarships for the 2019/2020 school year (8 students will receive $1100 each).

Socially, the moms met at a local painting place to creatively design artwork. A new Aggie Mom hosted our annual Christmas ornament exchange at her home. When the students were home over the holidays, another mom hosted a pizza and game night for the families. At the golf tournament, we recogized the moms of four graduationg seniors with Aggie crest paper weights.

It was another productive, support, spirit-filled year as an Arizona Aggie Mom Club!

ATASCOSA Atascosa County Aggie Moms currently has 31 members. We had two fundraisers this year. Our fall fundraiser consists of selling our Atascosa County Aggie Mom Pecans, 1 pound bags of pieces and halves. Our spring fundraiser was working at the Atascosa Aggie Skeet Shoot. Through these fundraisers we were able to award 14 $500.oo scholarships to graduating seniors accepted to A&M from the towns of Jourdanton, Pleasanton, Charlotte and Poteet. We also delivered goodie bag exam packs to the students in the fall and mailed gift cards to the students in the spring.

AUSTIN May 2018 We hosted our Scholarship Recipients and our Graduates at a reception. The Transition of our Board was completed.

June 2018 Our annual "Howdy Social" was held with approximately 250 attendees. We had representatives from the Housing Office, Study Abroad, Carpool, and a variety of other organizations. The highlight of our event was a talk by Dr. Kathleen Speed from the Academic Success Center.

July/August 2018 We held 2 events for Fish Moms, Transfer Moms, and Blinn Team Moms at Riverplace Country Club. The first, held in July, was our New Mom Q and A and was run by our Fish Mom Mentors. They presented information about sending your Aggie to TAMU: dorm life, what to pack, Fish Camp, Financial Aid, medical care, football games, etc. About 50 moms attended the event and many of them signed up for membership in our club. The other event was Aggie Mom 101, where we

educated potential new members about the responsibilities of being an Austin Aggie Mom. This meeting was run by President Daniela Knight, with assistance from various Board members. The Fall Federation Meeting was attended by Daniela Knight, Denise Isenhour, Shileen Karnes, Carey Boles, and Kathleen Pasquarette.

September 2018 We hosted our first official Austin Aggie Moms meeting for the school year at Riverplace Country Club and opened with an icebreaker: You Know You're an Aggie Mom When". Prior to our General Meeting at 7pm, our Fish Mom Mentors met at 6:30pm with new moms. President Daniela Knight introduced the Board members and announced her theme for the year, which was "Integrity". We also wrote letters to the parents of Mr. Erik Kyle Hanson, whose Silver Taps was being held that night. Denise Isenhour made an appeal for items to be donated for our Reveille Raffle.

October 2018 At our October meeting, we celebrated the birthday of our Past President, Denise Isenhour. Our speaker was Tim Lomax from Texas A&M Transportation. He explained changes being made to traffic patterns around campus and encouraged us to download the Destination Aggieland App. We also sold tickets to our Singing Cadet Concert and our Reveille Raffle.

November 2018 Our November meeting celebrated Veterans, so our speaker was Colonel Gerald Smith of the TAMU Veterans' Resource Center. He's such a great speaker and provided us with tons of data about their work. We continued to sell Singing Cadet tickets and collect items for our raffle.

December 2018 In December, we had a short business meeting and then followed with our annual Christmas party. As in years' past, we had a gift exchange. In addition, for the first time, we had invited our Past Presidents to attend and honored them at our party and provided each of them with a small gift. Our Goody Bag committee delivered goody bags to the TAMU campus for both students and Veteran students. January 2019 We held a "training meeting" in January to provide members with instructions for working our Singing Cadet Concert. The Concert was held on January 12 at the Riverbend Centre. Prior to the concert, prospective students could visit with representatives from the Study Abroad, Carpool, TAMU Housing, Corps of Cadets, Career Center, and the Cap City Ags. We also held our Reveille Raffle, which included 12 "baskets" and a couple of Silent Auction items. About 2000 people attended the concert, from which we earned about 60% of our year's income. In late January, Daniela Knight, Denise Isenhour, Shileen Karnes, Mary Pydyn, and Jana Leeper attended the Federation Winter meeting. February 2019 About 6 of our moms attended Aggie Mom Camp this month and had a great experience. Our February meeting speaker was Dr. Jill Grimes '87, who's talk was titled "Anxiety 101--Beyond Meds and Meditation. She spoke at length about anxiety in students AND parents and listed a variety of support that exists at Texas A&M. Our social event this month was held at Esther's Follies and included husbands.

March 2019 March is generally a slow month for us, but we had about 50 moms attend our March meeting. In addition, our District Meeting was at the end of March and was attended by Sue Munns.

April 2019 Our April speaker was Warren Finch, director of the George HW Bush Presidential Library. He was fascinating and a great idea for any club who needs a speaker. We also discussed working Boutique at Family Weekend. At Boutique, we had about 30 of our moms work our booth along with our Jewelry/Merchandise VP Tomi Johnson. In addition, we had 5 members attend the Spring Federation Meeting. Two of our members, Denise Isenhour and Daniela Knight, were installed as Federation Officers during the Saturday meeting. April 21 was the deadline for students to submit applications for our scholarships. We awarded 12 Merit Scholarships this spring. Our Goody Bag chair delivered goody bags to students and Veteran Students this month. May 2019 We had our last official meeting of the school year this month. Instead of having a speaker, we played Bunco with about 40 of our members. We charged them $10 per person to play, which helped pay for the food catered by Riverplace Country Club. On May 2, we hosted a "Kendra Gives Back" event at the Domain. Finally, on May 22, we hosted our annual "Grads and Brags" event, where we honored all our recent graduates and scholarship recipients. Additionally: Each month, our Fish Mom Mentors hosted a Fish Mom meeting 30 minutes prior to our General Meeting. They did a fantastic job answering questions about college life.

Our Officers met most months prior to the General Meeting.

We tried to plan social events each month in addition to our regular meetings. These varied from Estthers Follies to lunches to happy hours.

This year we decided to forego the Past Presidents' Luncheon. We have had difficulty getting many of them to attend and the event ends up being very expensive, thus, taking away from scholarships and organizational giving. Most of our Past Presidents were happy with this decision.

Financial GIving: Merit Scholarships $12,200. Endowed Scholarship $5000. Singing Cadets $6000. Organizational Giving $4000. JJ Sanchez Award $500. Association of Former Students $350.

We ended the year with 172 Members.

We meet once a month. Most memorable meeting: We had the local Sheriff's Department Fraud Investigator speak to us about phone fraud, skimming on gas pumps, etc. It was very informative.

We attended the Bellville Small Town Christmas selling our T-shirts and Ornaments made by our members. Proceeds going towards Scholarships and Organizational Donations.

We had a Dinner and Dance. Music provided by Aggieland Orchestra. We have had this fundraiser for several years but moved the location to a local Agricultural Society Hall. Proceeds going towards ScholarshIps and Organizational Donations.

BANDERA COUNTY We had 19 paid members this year and even though we are small, we had a great year! We started out the year with a tailgate party/Membership drive to kickoff Aggie football. We participated in our local Aggie Muster, we donated one of our awesome custom iron works signs to the Big Event. Our iron works sign was designed by a former Aggie student from our club and to get our community involved and of course kids to start thinking about Texas A&M, our Ag teacher, let his FFA ag class cut out the signs on their laser machine. We had two fundraisers which we sold tamales right before Thanksgiving and held a huge rummage sale that enabled us to give out 17 scholarships. We also handed out 30-35 goody bags at exam time for each Fall and Spring. Our offices attended the district meeting and got a lot of cool ideas, and we ended our year with a get together at a local Italian restaurant for a relaxing time to just enjoy a meal together and visit with each other.

BAYTOWN We had 42 paid members this year.

We started out with a HOWDY for new/old moms at a local vineyard.

Our meetings included several wonderful speakers and programs. Marisa Gossett from Academic Success Office gave an excellent presentation on how to help our Aggies and the resources available through their office.

Our January meeting was awesome. We invited the TAMU Police Dept to give us a demonstration of their self-defense class. Our Aggies joined us and it was very informative and fun.

We painted with a purpose in February as a fundraiser. Always a fun time.

Our fundraising efforts were very successful this year, our biggest year to date. We awarded six $1000 scholarships. Four incoming freshmen and two continuing.

We gave back to our University with donations to Carpool, Parsons Mounted Cavalry, Fish Drill Team and Singing Cadets. We also made a $100 donation to the church where we hold our meetings.

BEE COUNTY Our club currently has 36 members. While all do not have a child attending A&M, the members who do not have a current student, foster local students attending Texas A&M. When I took over I wanted three things to change. One, I wanted to recruit more members second I set our financial goal to raise atleast $10,000.00 dollars for scholarships. Third, I wanted support between the mothers and support for all our students. Several of us attended several Aggie workshops to gain a better understanding of the organization and how to make our club more sucessful. While we learned many new ideas at these workshops, we also had an amazing time meeting other Aggie moms. I am happy to report our club accomplished all three of my goals. Whoop!!

We met every first Tueday of each month and held a social for 30 minuets before our meetings began. We had hors d'oeuvres and a selection of wines for their choosing. It became something the moms looked forward to after a long day at work. We would visit about our students and our families before our meetings. It was such a treat……I genuinely enjoyed these gatherings and getting to know the moms better.

Our 2018 year began with our Annual Aggie send off which included not only incoming freshman students but also students already enrolled. The gathering was held at my home. The evening was themed Fiesta and a traditional Mexican meal was served. We had about 50 guest, which also included alumni. That evening we held a raffle which made about 500 dollars, Winner won an ice cooler with lots of goodies. Ice chest was donated by Matt and Shambryn Huie owners of Blue Ribbon feed store. Also both Aggie's.

Our first scheduled fundraiser was held in November with a Kendra Scott give back event. The evening raised 1,500.00 and guests had a sparkling evening. The event was held at my home and everyone had a great time. Late in November the Aggie Moms made an appearance at the Christmas at the Mansion event and we sold honey.

Throughout the Fall semester we sold organic honey jars from my families ranch. We sold it at the annual Ladies Night Out which was held in March. At that event we also hade Kendra Scott helping us once again.

The members also sold Butter Braid a fundraiser they have been involved in for many years which raised about $ 2,000.00 dollars. It is a fundraiser Beeville waits for as the dessert bread and is delivered before the holidays.

As soon as the holidays were over the membership hit the ground running early January. Our club sold 100 raffle tickets with the winning ticket winning San Antonio Rodeo tickets. The winner won 8 box seats with a parking space to see Alabama on Valentine's Day. Tickets were donated by my family and the event was extremely successful raising $10,000.00 dollars for our Aggie scholarships..

Early May our scholarship committee reviewed the scholarship applications. Our club voted to give one $1,000.00 scholarship to one student from Skidmore-Tynan high school and one $1,000.00 scholarship to a student from George West high school. We gave 6 scholarships ( 2 - $1,500.00 and 4- $500.00) to students from A.C.Jones.

Our club year was extremely successful and I am very proud of all the different things we accomplished. Our membership grew, we had a lot of fun working together and we reached all our goals.

BLANCO COUNTY Although our club is small, 2018-19 saw a substantial increase in membership, up 47% in addition to the increase of 114.3% in 2017-18! Personally I am very proud of the growth of our club during my two years as Blanco County Aggie Mom President. We continued our tradition of supporting our freshmen scholarships in coordination with the Blanco County Aggies, and awarded $250 per scholarship from our Club for total scholarships of $500 for each student ($250 from the Blanco County Aggies as well). We also voted to add a new scholarship for our graduating seniors. Our first senior scholarships will be awarded this fall. The new senior scholarship has been in the works since Spring 2018; it does take a bit of coordination to establish a new scholarship! We also prepared and distributed 36 Goody Bags for semester finals in Spring & Fall to our Blanco County Aggies. In addition to the goodies our Aggies also received a handy insulated "Aggie" tote with the spring bags. In April we again coordinated efforts with the Blanco County Aggies & hosted Muster which included a meal and program. In April-June we conducted our annual Scholarship Raffle Fundraiser. As we have done since our club began in 2006, we continued our annual tradition of welcoming our new Aggies and families to our Howdy Picnic each May. The picnic includes a BBQ dinner which is enjoyed by our existing Aggie Moms & their families and our new Aggies and families. The Aggie freshmen had an opportunity to meet our current students and get "Aggie info" from them. In September we added a Game Watch Gathering for one of the home games. This event served as a fun gathering for our Aggie families as well as a scholarship fundraiser. We know that we will need to increase our scholarship fundraising emphasis in the months to come because of the new scholarship, and we're looking forward to the challenge!

BOSQUE COUNTY The Bosque County Aggie Moms has 20 members. We prepare finals goody bags for our students in both fall & spring, along with gift cards to College Statioin restaurants. We also give a gift to graduates. We love to support our Aggie students.

BRAZORIA COUNTY Brazoria County Aggie Mom’s Club represents the cities of Lake Jackson, Clute, Danbury, Angleton, Brazoria, West Columbia, Freeport and Sweeny. We have 52 active members in our club. Our 2018-2019 Officers were inducted at the Scholarship Banquet May 14, 2018 with Diane Eckols, Federation 6th VP Boutique presiding.

Officer Board meetings were held throughout the year where each officer was given the opportunity to prove status updates and plan for the up-coming general meetings. Our general meetings are held mainly on the 2nd Monday of each month. Our monthly calendar was set and finalized in August. In September we opened with our traditional HOWDY/Tailgate party where we gave many examples of just what it is to be an Aggie, handed out laminated cards with helpful numbers to call as well as set up the “Remind” Notifications for our club.

In October “From Tutors to Paychecks” was presented in which gave some startling statistics and pointed us to resources in which we could guide our students.

In November we had the pleasure of bringing back a Kendra Scott popup shop. One of the scholarship we awarded was solely from this fundraiser (fundraiser amount $1, 057.12). We hope to continue the partnership with Kendra next year. Also in November our club hosted our 1st ever “Paint the Barn” wine and sip party. The Fall Finals Bags were handed out on November 30.

Our December Christmas party consisted of many games and just plain fun. From opening presents with oven mits, to Aggie Mom “PONG” and skittle sorting, we all celebrated the joyous season with a night of smiles and laughter. Our members gave generously by bringing non-perishable foods and money that were donated to the Aggie 12th Can organization by our membership.

January ushered in a new year and new twist in hosting our favorite Officers from Texas A&M Campus Police. Officer Hosea and Officer Donovan presented the state of TAMU to our members and also gave us some extremely powerful lessons in self-defense. In February we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Andy Duffy, Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 78, the Century Tree Guy! Mr. Duffy awarded our club $320 off the purchase of the trees linked to our club. Also in February we kicked off the raffle of an afghan and port wine basket donated by our members. March brought on our 2nd annual BUNKO party. The bunkos were happening and the bunko baby was flying! Bunko prizes were awarded and great fun was had by all.

As is our custom in April, we had the pleasure of hearing from former student Veronica Padilla, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1997 about the time honored Aggie Muster Tradition. Spring Finals Bags were handed out to students on April 26.

In May we celebrated the end of another great year with our annual Scholarship Banquet and Officer Installation. We also had the special treat of having a former BCAMC scholarship recipient to tell us a little bit about how he used his scholarship. We awarded 7 scholarships totaling $5000: $500 each to 4 in-coming freshman and $1,000 each to 3 current students. During this meeting we also drew the raffle winner of the afghan / port wine basket. This raffle raised $500 for our scholarship fund.

We awarded 12 ring crests to our graduating seniors. Our club donated to CARPOOL and the Texas A&M University Police.

It has been a fantastic year. We look forward to an even more exciting 2019-2020.

BRUSH COUNTY Our club meets once a month except for the summer time June and July. We have a send off for our new Aggies and current Aggies in August. We have usually 2-3 fundraisers throughout the year. We have one raffle and two events where we sell goodies and other crafted items donated by our Aggie Moms. We usually have 2-3 on average scholarships we give away to applicants that meet criteria set forth by the Federation. We do also usually donate to a few clubs at Texas A&M. We have had a few new members added to our club and hope to grow some more. Our goals are to participate more in our community and our A&M functions. We also donate to our local Aggie Muster events.

BURLESON COUNTY The Burleson County Aggie Moms' Club has 30 members as of the end of the school year. We began our year by holding our annual Howdy Ice Cream Social in August of 2018. We invited all local Aggies including incoming, current, and former students as well as their families. We also invited Aggie Yell Leaders which were a huge hit! We enjoyed ice cream and snacks, recognized scholarship winners, and had the yell leaders lead us in a yell practice. They also tested the crowd using Aggie trivia questions. Winners were awarded door prizes. In September we hosted our first annual Kolache Krunch 5K as part of the Kolache Festival in downtown Caldwell. The hope was to make this our big fundraiser while partnering with local city officials to bring more people to the Kolache Festival. We are happy to report that our first 5K was a huge success! After months of planning, we were blessed to have over 300 runners the day of the event. This has allowed us to increase the number of scholarships we can provide. In the past, we had provided two $500 scholarships to two high school graduates as well as two $500 scholarships to students currently attending Texas A&M . Beause it is much more difficult for students to acquire scholarship money for subsequent semesters, our club voted to continue to provide the two $500 scholarships to incoming students from our county and to provided three $1,000 scholarships to continuing students. Scholarship applications were advertised through the high school counselors in the various school districts in our county as well as in the local newspaper and through social media and our club website. Scholarship applications are offered to any incoming and continuing students from our county. Members' and non-members' children may apply. Local, non-member, city leaders blind judge the applications, and scholarships are awarded based on their rankings. In December members enjoyed our annual Holiday Social and assembled goody bags for members' students prior to distributing them at the MSC the following day. For our April meeting we gathered at Lissa's Sip & Shop in downtown Caldwell. We brought in April Locke, the owner of The Humble Life, which is also in downtown Caldwell. Members all enjoyed food & drinks while painting with April. We gathered the very beginning of May to once again prepare finals goody bags for our members' students. Each student was given a small Texas A&M insulated cooler containing snacks and a handmade Texas A&M print pillowcase hand-sewn by one of our members. The finals bags were handed out at the MSC the following day. Since that time, our club has been preparing for our second annual Kolache Krunch 5K which will be held the morning of Saturday, September 14, 2019 in downtown Caldwell. Information regarding the race can be found on our website which is burlesonco.aggiemoms.org.

CENTRAL TEXAS Central Texas A&M University Mother’s Club is comprised of 36 members and 4 Associate members as of March 1, 2019. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month in either a club member’s home or a local, designated restaurant. Our most successful fundraiser is held in the fall season. One of our Aggie mom’s travels to San Saba and buys shelled, whole pecans, and brings them into her home and she sets up her own pecan factory. The pecans are weighed and placed in zip lock bags to equal one pound. We sell these pecans by the bag prior to the Thanksgiving holiday when baking is most prevalent. This year we had a successful year with the pecan sales even though the crop had been affected by the flooding in San Saba county. Many of us have our contacts that we make each year to sell these pecans and often times, we are contacted by our customers eager to know when the pecans will be ready.

We send finals baskets to our Aggies once in the fall and once in the spring. As Aggie moms, we individually donate the money towards the baskets and goodies. Two of our moms are responsible for purchasing the snacks and A&M item such as cooler, lawn chair, hanging bag, etc. The baskets are extremely popular with our students and help to boost their spirits during the stressful, strenuous time. Our club participated in the Lampasas County Museum Christmas tree contest. We decorated a tree with Aggie décor. The theme this year was a “Farmyard Christmas”. Each farm animal ornament had a picture of our Aggies on it.

Our club gives our book awards of $250 each at our Howdy Social which is held either in July or August. We base the number of awards given out on our balance in our account. At our Howdy Social we grill hamburgers for all our Aggies and their families. This is the time we invite the incoming Freshman Aggies and transfer Aggies along with their families. This is a great time to meet the new and transfer students as well as their families. We offer membership into CTAM’s club. We also give out book awards at our January meeting. When these book awards are given to the respective Aggie and family, we require receipts for books, school supplies, (i.e. paper, pens, pencils, folders, spirals, notebooks) as well as laptop computers, as these are items that they will use for college.

We have also made it our club’s policy since we are asked for donations from so many Aggie organizations and groups, we solely donate to our Aggie students clubs. If our Aggies are involved with a student organization or have a certain passion for one group or organization, we make it a priority to donate. For example, this year we gave a donation to an A&M student organization called Flash (Freshman Leaders Advancing in Service). This student organization held a Dance Marathon benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network.

We also honor our graduates by presenting them a ring crest from the club for the year of graduation. However, the crests are purchased by an anonymous donation and funds from the parents. The graduates are recognized and honored at our Howdy Social each year.

We do have memorable meetings. We eat together and fellowship and attend to the business of our club. We have a time of sharing round the table about our Aggies. This is a favorite time of the Aggie Moms at each meeting.

COASTAL BEND The Coastal Bend Aggie Moms Club has had a great year. We have 24 current members and 1 lifetime member. As in the years past, the Coastal Bend Aggie Moms Club continued the tradition of stuffing final goody bags. The fall semester we stuffed monogrammed maroon laundry bags and momogrammed pillowcases in the spring. Our December meeting was a couples Christmas Dinner at Back Street Café in Sinton, Texas. It was a fun night getting to visit with the Aggie Moms & Dads. The Coastal Bend Aggie Moms fundraiser was a raffle with the drawing being held during Family Weekend in April. This year' raffle consisted of ladie's jewelry, a Kodi cooler & waterloo fishing rod, Golfing packages, a guided fishing package, a three night stay in Rockport, Texas, gift cards to various stores, and a beautiful handmade t-shirt quilt. The raffle itmes were generously donated by our memebers and local businesses. Since the raffle was such a success, the Coastal Bend Aggie Moms were able to award 21 scholarships to incoming Freshman as well as current students attending Texas A&M University. Along with the scholarships, a donation was also made to the Traditions Council at Texas A&M. The Coastal Bend Aggie Moms Club ended the 2018-2019 year

with an ice cream social HOWDY on May 14, 2019. Current Aggies were paired up with incoming Freshman Aggies, where they answered questions, gave advice, and shared their experiences while attend Texas A&M. Current Aggie Moms were paired with incoming Freshman parents. Approximately 32 people attended the HOWDY. It was an exciting year for the Coastal Bend Aggie Moms Club serving Aggies from twelve schools located in San Patricio, Aransas, and Refugio counties.

COLEMAN COUNTY We currently have 11 paid members in our club and many supporting Aggie Moms. Our club's projects all focus on raising money for scholarships and supporting each other as Aggie Moms. We accomplish this through an annual bake sale the Monday proir to Thanksgiving. This is a ling time traditon and we hae many repeat customers who place orders prior to the sale. For the last few years, we have focused on taking pre-orders for specialty items as well as having many items available the day of the sale. We also help the Coleman County Aggie Club by organizing the meal and decorations and set up for Aggie Muster each year. In exchange for this service, the Coleman County TAMU Aggie Moms receive the meal proceeds as well as a donation from the Aggie Club. This last year we designated $3000 for scholarships. This allowed us to award five $600 scholarships. We also give $200 to four different Aggie organizations or clubs annually.

COMAL COUNTY The Comal County Texas A&M University Mothers’ Club was founded in 1953 with 19 members. This year marks our 66th anniversary with 102 members. Our club is one of the oldest clubs in Texas and has a proud and strong tradition of service to Texas A&M and Aggies everywhere.

Our club began the 2018-2019 season with a Howdy Ice Cream Social in August where we hosted all local incoming freshman Aggies and their families. At this Social, we awarded 4 scholarships to current A&M seniors from Comal County valued at $500 each.

Since 1954, we take orders, mix, bake and package five kinds of German cookies to fund our scholarships. It is a monumental effort held the second weekend in December, and we use the entire commercial kitchen and cafeteria at a local high school. It takes approximately 48 hours to complete this undertaking. On that Sunday afternoon, more than 22,000 cookies were packed by our club members and picked up by the happy customers.

We held our annual January Family Dinner night at a local restaurant, which was attended by over 20 members and their students/spouses. This event gives Aggie Moms an opportunity to mingle with other Aggie Mom families in a non-business setting.

We have produced our 7th authentic German stein for our Boutique contribution. This year’s design was the Albritton Bell Tower. We have a new design each year making it a desirable item to build upon as a collection. We are excited that next year’s stein will again feature original artwork. The proceeds from the stein sales go for scholarships.

This spring we offered our steins at Parents Weekend Boutique, and our club president presented the Commandant’s Flag to the most involved corps outfit. This award signifies the outfit that gives the most back to the community.

In April, we participated in our local general TAMU Club’s Muster event by providing all the desserts for the attendees. Also, in April spring scholarships recipients were recognized as we awarded 12 scholarships valued at $1,000 each. Our Spring Picnic hosted the TX A&M Traditions Counsel. They were a wealth of knowledge. Comal County Aggie Moms also have an endowed scholarship that provides a scholarship to a freshman each year.

With our additional fund-raising dollars, in May of 2019, our club donated $2,500 to the Texas A&M University Police for care of their canines that protect Aggie students and families.

COPPELL The Coppell Aggie Mom Club has 89 full time members. We host meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month for Aggie Moms in the Coppell, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Grapevine and Valley Ranch areas. Our laregest attendance at meetings will be about 60 and smallest was 20. Our year started in May where we hosted our first MayDay2022. We welcomed more than 30 area Aggie Moms to learn about all aspects of the freshman experience…NSC, FLOs, fish camp, impact, connect, dorm life, recruitment, corp/band information, etc. We had our current members and current students volunteer to answer questions for the new mothers. We startred our new mom data base and had a good list to begin bringing in new moms to our club.

Throughout the summer the board met to plan out our year and we operated smoothly from that plan. Our September meeting welcomed about 80 moms to hear Paul Pausky, assoc. director of the Former Student Career Center talk about the importance of summer jobs and career fairs. He stressed the true value of the Aggie Network. He was a great speaker and had all the moms captivated by the services available at the career center.

The October meeting welcomed local counselor Dr. Kelly Jameson talk about mom seperation anxiety and the importance of that "Thanksgiving Conversation." She is a familiar speaker on high school boy and girl topics to area Coppell Moms, but this talk on college kids was amazing. She discussed how to follow your gut with your child, the warning signs of good and bad adjustments and how there is no "normal" college experience.

In October we hosted a Painting Saturday … about 10 members went to a local painting studio, and painted the Aggie Barn along highway 6. We raised about $100 for our scholarship fund. In November our chapter meeting was Exam Pack stuffing and talking about our Chapter tailgate that we were hosting on Nov. 11. During the Ole Miss game we hosted our first chapter tailgate in several years. We welcomed about 30 Coppell friends and served a breakfast taco buffet. We raised about $250 for our scholarship fund. Not sure if we will do this again next year. It was a lot of work and situations are always a little iffy when hosting a tailgate. It was a fun day. In December a member welcomed the club to her home for our Christmas party and ornament exchange. We had about 30 members bring appetizers, desserts and wine. It was a lot of fun. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was just one of those special fun nights with friends.

In January we hosted a wine tasting at Mesina Hof in Grapevine. We charged $20/person to cover the cost of the tastings. We only had about 8 people attend, but it was fun group of 8. We tasted several wines and if was a different way to start the new year.

In February we were fortunate to have Adelle Hudleston from the Sterling Evans library come to town to talk about the library and all the changes. It was a great talk about place we all can remember studying in, and how what our Aggies are interacting in the library in a totally different way. In March we had a presenation from a local Coppell boy who is part of the Traditions Council. It was a fun way to relearn school traditions. In March we did not have a meeting, then in April we recognized our 12 graduating seniors. We showed a video of each graudate and the mom spoke of future plans. We recognized the mom with a paper weight of their Aggie ring's grad year crest. After we recognized our seniors we prepared Exam Packs for our Aggies. We closed out our year with our second MayDay2023. We welcomed about 25 new Aggie Moms.

This year we decided to cancel our annual Gig 'em Gathering…an evening silent auction held at a member's home. The evening has a wine and heavy appetizers, plus a room full of silent auction items. Tickets sales were slow and this event it seems as run it's course. We moved our silent auction to an on-line auction. We raised @$800 on the on line auction. We are working with the Coppell Aggie Club to host two fundraising events in the 2019-2020 year. We are working to bring in some new ideas and a new audience. We feel good about our plan and hope it all works smoothly.

DALLAS COUNTYNumber of members: 168 (including 4 associate members, and 29 life members)

Donations to A&M: We donated $7,335 to Texas A&M. This includes donations to student organizations, donations to other A&M organizations who provided speakers for our meetings, and a corps award (Outstanding Corps Staff Officer.)

Scholarships: We donated $5,000 to fund five scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for the upcoming academic year. We also added over $10,000 to funds we are setting aside to establish a new endowed scholarship.

The year began with the installment of the new Board on May 17, 2018 at Breadwinner’s Café. On July 8, we hosted our Howdy Party at University Park United Methodist Church. For the party, we invited the Yell Leaders and several speakers, including some members of the Corps, and a representative from the Prospective Student Center in Arlington.

MEETINGS

We held our general meetings on the third Thursday of each month at the University Park United Methodist Church, and we had some great speakers:

September: Adelle Hedleston ’88, Development Manager for the TAMU Library System. The theme for our dinner was tailgate food.

October: Roland Block from the Career Center and Rodney Boehm from the College of Engineering. Rodney spoke about Aggies Invent. Dinner was a chili cookoff.

November: Rick “Tank” Tankersley ’87 one of the original members of the 12th Man Kickoff Team. Dinner was a collection of side dishes, a “Thanksgiving Sides Test Run.” We also filled our fall goody bags at this meeting

March: Angie Rogers ‘84, a Collin County Aggie Mom, who spoke about the Aggie Recovery Community student organization. Dinner was a salad buffet.

April: Jeff Wilson ’84, Associate Director with Residence Life. We also invited high school seniors who’ll be attending A&M next fall. Dinner was a taco bar, and we filled spring goody bags.

FUNDRAISERS

Our largest fundraiser was the Singing Cadets Concert on February 16 at the Lovers Lane United Methodist Church. We had approximately 450 attendees, and we raised funds through ticket sales, sponsorships and a silent auction.

We held our annual Howdy Holidays Gift Market and Craft Fair on December 1. Our guest vendors were Aggie Moms clubs from Collin County, SW Dallas County, Denton County, Kaufman County and NE Tarrant County. The event also included a bake sale and the pick-up table for our tamale fundraiser.

For a third year, we held a tamale fundraiser, with members taking orders from September – November, and picking them up at the holiday sale.

A new fundraiser for us this year was selling books on consignment from the TAMU Press. We were allowed to keep the books for 90 days (Nov-Jan,) sell them at the retail value, pay TAMU Press a wholesale price, and return all unsold books.

Other fundraisers we held this year were profit shares at Kendra Scott, Grub Burger and Swoozie’s. We also participated in the Belk Charity Day Sale in November.

We sold a few items at the new TAMU Conference Center Hotel gift shop.

At our April General Meeting, we held a “Spring Cleaning Silent Auction” where members were invited to bring an item from their home that was no longer needed (new or gently used) for other members

OTHER EVENTS

Last summer we had a cookout for Board members and committee chairs at the home of one of our members.

In July, we had a table at the Dallas A&M Club’s Coach’s Night to raise our visibility among Former Students and to promote our Singing Cadets Concert.

In August, we had a social outing: a walk on the trail at Brookhaven College, followed by a trip to the Juice Bar.

In September and October, we held two New Mom Socials.

In December and May, we used the extra goody bag fillings to prepare goody bags for the students at the A&M Engineering Academy at El Centro.

Instead of a general meeting in December, we had a Holiday Pot Luck and Sock Exchange, where we exchanged fun socks and small gifts, and brought extra regular socks that we donated to the Stew Pot (an agency that serves the homeless population.)

In January we started the new year with a yoga party at Twist Yoga.

In March we had our own Big Event service project. We put together Easter baskets and birthday boxes at Hope Supply Co., an agency that serves homeless and at-risk children.

We also have a Book Club that meets monthly year-round.

Finally, we had several craft workshops and scrapbook sessions. (We create “aggiefied” scrapbooks.)

DEEP EAST TEXAS The Deep East Texas Aggie moms consist of 37 active members - whoop! We are a small group encompassing the Deep East Texas area: Longview, Spring Hill, Kilgore, Diana, Gilmer, Union Grove, & other nearby towns.

Our events for 2018-2019:

July 2018 - Howdy Hullabaloo Event, which was a Tailgate party held inside due to the heat. New & Former Students, Family & Friends all played corn hole, ate tailgate food (hot wings and a variety of finger foods), all while visiting and listening to Aggie music.

September 2018 - We kicked off our first meeting with a Meet & Greet, kind of like "speed dating". Members participated in rotating around to meet & greet all the new Aggie moms. It was a fun and welcoming environment. The current members provided various salads for dinner.

October 2018 - We had a special guest that helped us do Chalk Painting. Everyone had a chance to make one or more Fall-themed Chalkboard paintings - super cute!

November 2018 - We put together our Fall Goody Bags and wrote personal notes to our Aggies encouraging them for Finals. We included a Cold/Flu survival bag in our Goody Bags. Moms could bring extra items to include in their student's goody bag.

December 2018 - We had our Christmas party with lots of good snacks. Each member brought a gift t (Christmas- themed or Aggie-themed), and we held a raffle for the gifts. It was a fun evening.

January 2019 - No meeting so that everyone could enjoy having the Aggie(s) at home during the break.

February 2019 - We reviewed and discussed officer positions to get members to think about being on next year's Board. We then worked on craft items for our Aggie Boutique at Family Weeklend.

March 2019 - We had a guest speaker, Col. Samuel Hawes, from the Fightin' Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets. He spoke to us about being in the Corps, but also about what it takes to be an Aggie, recruiting, and all the options to be accepted into Texas A&M. He included what to expect from new students at TAMU. On top of our regular guest speaker, we had Geracie Mack, Daylon Mack's Aggie

mom, in our audience. She came forward and told us about how Daylon is doing with the NFL Draft, his hopeful plans and her's as a NFL Player Mom. We also had a barbecue dinner. The meat was catered in by Bodacious BBQ with all of us Aggie moms bringing side dishes - yum!

April 2019 - We had another guest speaker, Mr. Ridley Briggs Class of 1954. Originally the TAMU Police Department was going to speak, but due to extending circumstances, they were unable to attend. We were very fortunate to get Mr. Briggs at the last minute! Whoop! He spoke to us about what it means to be an Aggie, the Aggie connections that last forever, the pride of being an Aggie, and how the times have changed. He gave us all a good laugh when he said " I promised to buy all my grandchildren(I think it was 5 or 6) an Aggie Ring, not knowing prices went from $25-$50 to what????"

May 2019 - Our final meeting was a Scholarship and Senior Moms appreciation dinner at the mexican restaurant, Papacitas. We were able to give 2 Current Student Scholarships ($500 each), 2 Incoming Freshmen Scholarships ($500 each), and the Robert "Bobby" Smith Memorial Scholarship ($500) went to Madelyn Mack. Our December 2018 and May 2019 graduates were recognized, and our 2019-2020 officers were introduced. A good time was had by all - whoop!

Our most successful fundraiser of the year was Aggie Mom Boutique. We sold handmade gift items including Aggie corn hole game set, engraved cutting boards, dish towels, jewlery, hats, scarves, wall hangings, etc. Our signature item is our embroidered Aggie Mom bling jersey. We had a new Aggie Grandmother version of our jersey this year which was a big seller as well.

DEL RIO Our Del Rio Texas A&M Moms Club was not very active this year. We started off with a lot of energy hosting the Howdy Party and hosted several meetings but then illness struck several of our members and mainly our officers. After this we weren’t at all successful in reuniting and getting off the ground. We weren’t even able to do “Goody Bags” for either semester.

We are definitely hoping for a more healthy and active year this 2019-2020.

DENTON COUNTY Well this year was a remarkable year, we held our first meeting of the year on the 2nd Thursday of September to allow for more moms to come because they are usually other activities going on the first two weeks of school and it worked out great, high attendance, did learn a lot of things about that social engagement. 1. Have more informaiton available for new moms, 2. Have new moms partner up with an experienced mom, keep the business part of the meeting to less than 10 minutes.

The later months we had lots of wonderful programs that really brought in our membership, Traditions Council, Jane Metz, TAMU Police, Former Students Programs and Andy Duffy of the Aggie Century Tree Project.

We also changed the naming our monthly meetings to socials to encourage more interaction between the membership. As president, I made it a point to greet each member that came to the meetings and make it a point to remember their name and Aggie's name. I also tried to make sure that we kept our programs on track so that way we had plenty of time to have moms chat before being rushed out the door. This increased our monthly attendance, especially with keeping all the presentations upbeat and focused on the information our members wanted. This helped our average attendance at our monthly meetings increase to 40 members per meeting, that is 38% of our total membership.

We also had an outstanding year in our fundraising efforts. Pecan sales were tremendous, sold $1,000 more than the previous year. Our Boutique did amazaing work this year with two events, Sip & Knit and Decorating with a Twist, to help out with decorating or making items to sell at each monthly social, Holiday Market and Family Weekend. Our boutique also initiated spear-headed a gift card drive for our Gift Card Tree as a raffle item at Family Weekend and one of our AMAZING Aggie Dads created the most amazing Aggie Cornhole Set that our team was able to use a raffle prize as well. With both of those items, we actually generated an additional $2,000.00+ that went to our scholarships funds. We also partnered up with Andy Duffy of the Aggie Century Tree Project and raised an additional $660.00 dollars towards our scholarship funds, but we also helped Andy hit a new milestone for his organization. This year was amazing because of all the funds we raised, we were able to increase the number of student scholarhips from our standard 6 to 14 $1,000.00 scholarships; 6 All Around Students, 4 Merit based Scholarships and 4 Financial Need Scholarships.

We also received some generous donations from our membership and corporations $1,100.00. The funds raised from our Annual Cruise Fundraiser were better than last year. For every cabin booked and paid for, our club received $75.00, we had 11 cabins sold for first Alaskan cruise, for a total funds raised $825.00.

This year we had our May General meeting and Officer Installtion at a resturant and called it an End of Year celebration. We had many moms come and bring a guest, the food was amazing and we still installed our new board and president without any glitches.

This year was fabulous, because I wanted more open communication for my board and the general membership and we did that giving our membership oppurtunities to give their feedback at several of the meetings and an email survey. All the feedback we received was wonderful to know, from programs our memberships wants to see to what new activites we should do to build up on the Aggie spirit.

Also from the feeback, we got to know what we need to improve on as a board to involve our members more. Like I stated earlier, this year was tremendous, that we are already planning for new activites for our membership so we can continue to build on the momentum we had this year.

DENVER, COLORADO The Denver Aggie Moms’ had a busy year in 2018-2019. We have 31 members and we continued to support both our students and one another while our students are away at school. Members who are former students or whose children have already graduated are invaluable sources as well as moms of upper classmen.

We started off our year with our annual Howdy Picnic-summer 2018, to welcome new members, their students and family members to our Denver Aggie Moms’ group. It was an opportunity for moms, dads, and graduates, current and new students to get together and visit.

At several of our meetings this year we were able to invite a speaker to speak to our group. This included Anne Kimbal of the Denver Aggie Alumni Club who spoke to our group about the importance of our Aggie’s becoming involved in an A&M club after their graduation for group support, networking events, tailgate parties and Muster events. Bailey McCracken spoke to us about her time working for the Association of former students and the honor flight she was a part of for WWII veterans and the

Muster that was held during flight. We also had 2 recent graduates speak to us about their time at A&M from a students’ perspective. During 2 of our meetings fall and spring we stuffed Final Care packages for the students and we had our traditional holiday ornament exchange party in December.

In January the A&M club hockey team was in town for a tournament and our Aggie Moms hosted a team dinner at their hotel and put together snack packages for them to have on the bus. We continue to send Birthday cards to our Aggie’s and once again we donated a couple gift baskets to the local Aggie Muster silent auction. Several of our members attended the local Aggie Muster in Denver and several were able to make the trip to College Station to attend Muster with their Aggie student.

Our final meeting of the year is in May where we celebrate our Aggie graduates and it is also our officer installation. While the graduates are busy with finals and graduation their parents receive a nice gift from the club on their behalf. The graduating students also provide some information for our printed program about their time in College Station and their best memory of their time at Aggieland.

At this time our club does not offer scholarships. We have chosen to provide donations to TAMU organizations instead. The funds used to make these donations were generated from our King Sooper/Kroger gift card fundraiser. This year we gave the following organizations a $250 donations:

$250 Gamma Phi Beta in memory of Jane Tharp $250 PREP in memory of Jane Tharp $250 Aggie’s for Christ on Campus $250 Company D-2 $250 Ross Volunteers $250 Squadron 16 $250 Squadron 17 $250 Corps of Cadets General Sch Fund $250 St. Mary’s Catholic Center $500 Donation to the Denver Aggie family of Mary Gay to help with her son’s brain cancer surgery expenses.

DEWITT-LAVACA The DeWitt-Lavaca A&M Mothers’ Club currently has 116 members and 3 associate members. We meet each year in September and February. Additional officers and committee meetings are held as needed. The September meeting is the kick-off meeting of the year. The February meeting is followed by snacks and Bunco. Most club meetings and goody bag assemlies are held at the office of Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual Insurance Association in Yoakum.

Donations included $250 donations to each of the following campus organizations - Aggie Southern Darlings; Aggie Women in Business; Future Aggie Nurses; Future Agricultural Science Teachers; and Pro-Life Aggies. Memorial Donations of $250 each were given to Sterling C Evans Library Mothers' Club Account in memory of Former Federation President Donna Bentley and to the Ross Volunteer Company in memory of Former Federation President Jean Kaspar. Our club was represented at the local Muster where we announced the recipients of 10 $1,000 Scholarships that were awarded to incoming freshmen and two $1,000 scholarships awareded to transfer students from our area.

A Howdy Party held in June is for all incoming and prospective students and their families as well as transfer students. Held at the home of club member Terri Dierringer, it allows everyone the opportunity to play A&M Trivia, washers, learn about Texas A&M, visit, make new friends and enjoy a hot dog cookout. New students are presented with a Goody Bag that is filled with useful items they can use when they get to Aggieland. Goody Bag items are donated by club members.

Prior to finals, members donate and fill Goody Bags which includes a variety of snacks and items to be used in preparation for inals. Several Moms travel to campus to deliver the Goody Bags to all of our area students. Graduating students are presented with a Texas A&M Ring Crest paper weight.

Our only fundraiser, the 13th Annual Holiday Market, Style Show and Dinner, is held the first Monday of November at the Yoakum Community Center. This evening includes shopping at area vendor booths while visiting and making new friends. Tables, each beautifully decorated with different themes makes the evening even more enjoyable. A delicious meal prepared by our members is served by Former Students. The evening includes a style show with ladies from our area who model apparel from area businesses. A silent auction and raffle are held in conjunction with this event. The raffle item is a custom bench made and donated by Kaspar Companies in Shiner, TX. This event netted over $15,000 to be used for scholarships and student activities.

EL CAMPO AREA The El Campo Area Aggie Moms Club experienced a bit of growth this year. We had 26 members and 6 associate members. We gave out 2 scholarships of $500 each: one to an El Campo graduating senior and one to an Area graduating senior (both A&M-bound, of course!). Our Club donated $300 to Aggie organizations and gave out TAMU paperweights to graduating seniors from our area. Our officers provided useful Aggie information to our moms at each monthly meeting. Our members made cards and treats for students at Halloween and also put together recipe books for them. We participated in both Goody Bag days, giving our students recipe books in December and beach towels in April. We had t-shirts made that members purchased. Our officers attended the Federation Winter Workshop in January. And our Club also had some fun along the way - we had Howdy pooly party to welcome new members, a Christmas party with an ornament exchange, a paint party where we painted Aggie crosses, and a great end-of-year crawfish boil party with outdoor games.

ELLIS COUNTY During the 2018-19 season the Ellis County Aggie Moms club had a surgance of new members in the fall. We attempted electronic registration and flow charts with students info on them to assist other students in reaching our to others from their area who might be able to share experiences/advice. Another new initiative we started this year was an added “social” event each month to foster camaraderie among the moms. Our total membership number was 42. Although we focus mainly on scholarships, we were contacted by three organizations and chose to donate to two that directly benefited hard working TAMU student organizations. We were fortunate enough to give three $1000 scholarships this year, thru our own scholarship selection committee. Our only fundraiser was the Aggie Moms Boutique where we sold yard signs. We had speakers from TAMU Police as well as the Career Center. Our club enjoyed a fun kick off party in September, as well as a Christmas party where we exchanged TAMU ornaments.

FRIENDSWOOD AREA Our year started with our Howdy Party at Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant in September. One of the highlights was the Yell Leaders presentation. In December we had our annual Christmas Party/Ornament Exchange dinner. Our family dinners were in January and our last one was in May. In January we had a guest speaker but in May we decided to make the focus on the students. Many of them talked about their 2018-2019 year and one special story was shared by a Corps member and the Bush funerals.

We had several crafts days and made ornaments and cards to sell at the Galveston Crafts Day and at Boutique. We also sold ornaments online and this new venture was quite successful for us. At Boutique, we partnered with 4 outside vendors and this was also very successful for our Club. Our raffle at Boutique did exceptionally well. We raffled a Texas/maroon quilt, a Howdy/Gig'em bench with pillows and a fire pit with “A&M” welded on the grates.

Our 22nd annual Fine China Luncheon and silent auction was held in March. It was an enormous success!

Our fundraising this year was very profitable. We were able to give student recognition awards to 12 students and 3 A&M organizations totaling $9,500.

We made donations for mileage stipend or monetary gifts to 5 A&M organizations.

Our membership total was down this year compared to last year, but we had a great group of moms and accomplished our goals for the year.

We had several TAMU organiztions come and speak at our meetings and we enjoyed their information.

In May we installed our new board and we look forward to another successful Aggie Mom year.

GALVESTON COUNTY Galveston County Aggie Mother's Club had 400 full members and 75 associate members for the 2018-2019 year. The members raised money throughout the year by selling licensed A&M Orca drinkware and custom anchor bracelets made by Rustic Cuff, raffling an Orca cooler full of A&M memorabilia, selling hand made items during family weekend and a campus holiday market, and raffling a hand made A&M quilt at Boutique. We raised enough money during the year to donate $3,200 to student organizations on the Galveston A&M campus and 26 $1,000 student scholarships to the College Station and Galveston campuses. The clubs successful year was due to the comraderie the members felt with each other as they came together at monthly meetings and special events. Our members enjoyed spending time together as we prepared finals survival kits for students, made crafts at our holiday party, served students at the Big Event, laughed together at Moms and Margaritas, and appluaded each other at our end of year officer installation banquet. The club is excited to continue it's success with the new leadership in the 2019-2020 years.

The tournament was originally scheduled for April 6th, but unfortunately had to be rescheduled for May 11. With Mother Nature working against us it was postponed again until June 15th. The weather finally decided to work with us and we had a smaller turnout than in past years, but a great time was had by all. Golfers and non-golfers come out and support our Aggies by playing, as well as contribute to the silent auction.

Milam County Aggie Moms also assist with the Muster held at a local venue in the county, 44-Farms. During this event the Moms provide a Fajita meal to the guest and have a live auction with baked goodies donated by our moms. This year we had special items donated by the Cameron High School Ag Department, two Texas A&M metal art pieces for the scholarship fund.

The 2018-2019 year was a great success for the Milam County Aggie current and future students, we could give out over $10k to the local students.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY We had 102 active members for the 2018-2019 school year. We kicked off the year with our annual HOWDY event, which included representatives from all areas of TAMU campus life; a student Q&A panel, and the Aggie Yell Leaders.

We met on the second Thursday of every month, September through May, with the exception of December. In December we held a Christmas dinner for our board members. Speakers at our monthly meetings included Andy Duffy ’78—The Century Tree Project; Texas A&M Police Department; Jeff Savell, Professor of BBQ; and Nick Kilmer—Aggie Money Center.

We made a priority to build relationships between our members this year and enjoyed a painting social, a happy hour event, and a Bunco night in addition to our monthly meetings. We plan to do more socials for the 2019-2020 school year.

We spent 3 days on campus (October, December, and April) to distribute Goodie Bags. We gave $250 to four campus organizations: Engineering World Health, Camp Kesem, Fish Drill Team, and Pro Life Aggies, for a total donation of $1000 to Texas A&M.

We gave five $1000 scholarships, for a total of $5000.

We did not hold our annual spring fundraiser this year, as we are transitioning to a fall fundraiser, which will be held in October, 2019.

NORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY Northwest Harris County celebrated our 30th year as a member of the Federation of Aggie Mothers' Clubs. This year we welcomed 228 members, three adopted Moms and 28 Ring of Honor Moms. We were blessed to be able to award $15,000 in scholarships to twelve deserving Aggies. Half of that through our fundraising efforts and half through our endowed scholarships. In addition we awarded $1200 in book scholarships to help defray those specific costs. Our members voted on TAMU student organizations to receive an additional $5700 in financial support.

Highlights from our year included fantastic speakers such as the Galveston Yell Leaders, Sheila Nelson from the Association of Former Students, General Joe Ramirez, Aggie Women's Chorus and 7 Student Organizations from the College Station campus. In an effort to focus on relationship building this year we successfully incorporated fun ice breaker type games, small group discussions and even a Christmas Sweater extravaganza and gift exchange into our meetings that allowed those attending to get to know each other better. In March we enjoyed a Charter Party to celebrate our 30 years and invited special guests including ten of our Past Presidents and Peggy Nolan, current Federation President.

Our fundraising efforts included "give back" nights with Kendra Scott & Round Top Collection, Family Weekend Boutique including several new Traditions items, a family weekend raffle and a combination fun-raising/fundraising football watch party - Hullabaloo Huddle. In its second year, our Spirit of Service Committee led monthly efforts to serve organizations in our local community through donations and also a service day. Our Social Committee ensured there were varied opportunities to relax together such as a monthly Book Club, visits to wineries and breweries, a painting party and a baseball tailgating date. With 180 finals care packages to deliver in both the fall and spring, many moms (and a few dads and future Aggies) got to spend delivery day giving out hugs, smiles and encouragement.

Through the dedication, enthusiasm and Aggie Spirit of the 18-19 Board and Committee members it was an amazing year.

PANOLA COUNTY Panola County Aggie Moms includes members from Carthage, Beckville, Gary, and other smaller areas within our east Texas county. This year we have 22 members who love and support 27 Aggies.

We meet monthly and give away door prizes to a lucky Mom and Aggie at each meeting. After our business meeting, we also enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by a hostess Mom. In December and

May, we treat ourselves to an evening out at a local restaurant. In December, we also have an annual Aggie ornament exchange.

We kicked off the school year with our annual Howdy Burger. We welcomed new and current Aggies and their families, as well as some former Aggies. We got to know our local Aggie family, enjoyed a scrumptious hamburger dinner, and gave away door prizes to a lucky new Aggie and new Aggie Mom.

For Halloween, Valentine's Day, and birthdays, we send our Aggies greeting cards containing Mom-purchased gift cards. We also donate and prepare exciting final goody bags in the spring and fall for all of our Aggies. Custom-decorated Aggie cookies are also given out with the final bags. Each graduating senior receives a Benjamin Knox Aggie print at this time.

This year we had two fundraisers: a raffle and Gig 'Em signs project. In October, we sold raffle tickets and gave away three prizes (an Aggie gift basket, a Yeti cooler, and an event tent) from our booth at the local community festival, "Potlatch". In the spring, we placed, moved, and sold Aggie yard signs. We have found that fundraising is a great way to have fun, interact with our local community, as well as promote Aggie Spirit!

Our fundraising efforts enabled us to award 15 scholarships: one to a high-school senior and fourteen to each and every one of our current Aggies who applied. We also made a donation to The Big Event.

We are proud of our four graduating seniors, and can't wait to meet our seven new Aggies and Moms in 2019-2020!

PASADENA AREA Pasadena Aggie Moms’ Club had a great 2018-2019 year.

We started the year off in August with our annual Howdy Party. This year we had a SnoCone Truck visit and offered snocones to all in attendance. Our Sophomore Aggies, Genevieve Rogers, Taylor Zawacki, and Zoe Ward gave tips, tricks, and advice to the Aggie Class of 2022.

In September, we had the Galveston Aggie Yell Leaders visit and teach us about Aggie Yell Leaders Traditions and led us in some Aggie Yells.

This year we added two new parts to our meeting: Traditions Minute - where we talk about an Aggie Tradition and an Aggie Mom Devotional prepared by Alma Tovias which were amazing.

In October, we had fun with our annual Bunco party.

In November, we created a craft.

Our December Goodie Bags were a hit with a Thermal Bag full of snacks and munchies!

We always enjoy our Christmas Party with a gift exchange. Carol Smith gave us all a wooden A&M ornament that was just so cute!

We had an awesome fundraising year. We did Spirit Nights at 3 local restaurants, Mod Pizza, Willie’s, and the Aquarium at Kemah. We plan to do this again next year because we really enjoyed sharing a meal together and spending time with each other.

Our annual raffle was a huge success. We sold over 750 tickets and raffled away a Mac Airbook laptop. We attended Family Weekend and Aggie Mom Boutique to sell our Raffle Tickets. One of our own members, Annette, won it!

January we honored our 2018 graduates with a gift.

We attended the Federation Meetings in January.

We had so much fun at Aggie Mom Camp.

February we enjoyed each other’s company at Willie for a fundraising night.

March we had Andy Duffie ‘78 attend our meetings and share his Century Trees.

We finished the year strong with Spring Goody Bags in an TAMU Igloo, Kendra Scott Fundraising Night were we received a generous donation, Taylor’s Place visited in May and presented about their wonderful program for Aggies, and we volunteered at the Strawberry Festival ticket booth were we received a generous donation for our efforts.

Memorable Programs: PAMC begins every meeting with a TAMU tradition. We adopted several Angel Tree families and purchased clothes and toys. We held our December meeting at Los Cucos Mexican Restaurant where we gathered for dinner and brought our donations to be delivered to the families for Christmas. In May, we held our meeting at Allendale's Restaurant and distributed Ring Crests to our graduating seniors. We enjoyed graduation stories, discussed summer plans and what the future holds for our senior that graduated.

RANDOLPH AREA The Randolph Area Aggie Mothers' Club currently has 38 members. We meet the second Tuesday of every month (except July) in Converse, Tx. Our club has enjoyed a very successful 2018-2019 school year. Our success is contributed by a team of wonderful leaders and hardworking awesome members. Before the school year starts, our newly elected officers meet and plan a wonderful program of speakers.

Our year starts off in June and we hold our Howdy Party. We invite local high school graduates that will be attending A&M in the Fall. The Traditions council speaks to our members and invited guests. After the presentation, we also announce our 4 Freshman scholarships winners at $500 each, but the fun doesn’t end because we then continue to announce 8 other current student scholarships. In addition $500 scholarships, we also award 4 $100 scholarships selected from a drawing of both those in attendance and those who registered online.

In August, we also have a second Howdy Party for those who we missed our even in June. We scheduled a speaker from the Car Pool organization. She shared and informed us about services that are availble to students. We also had a drawing of 4 $100 scholarships for those in attendance and those that registered online. At our meetings, we also have a "Campus Store" which is a table of "all things Aggie" mostly made by our crafty moms. Our campus store brings in a substantial amount of money each month, which also contributes to our scholarships.

In September, our club hosted a potluck and held our Fall Raffle drawing. Members sold raffle tickets at $5 each or 5 for $20. We raised just over $4,500+ with about $500 of expenses. Our members worked diligently to solicit items for raffle donations.

In October, we created an adorable pumpkin at our craft night & potluck.

In November, we scheduled speakers from the 12th Can and enjoyed a game of HOWDY. Members donated cans of food in order to get a HOWDY game card. The 12th can associated returned to college station with plenty of food for their pantry. Near the end of the month, a group of us traveled to A&M to deliver Goodie Boxes to help with studying for finals.

In December, we celebrated with a Holiday Potluck and brought a pair of socks to the meeting. Once sock was filled with goodies and set out on a table while we swaped the other sock to the pair. Once the game (swapping)was over, we were able to claim the filled sock that matched. Another event we participate in is our Stocking Party. We meet montly at the Boysville Campus for free. For use of our meeting place we give back by sponsoring the girls cottage. We visit with the girls and watch them perform for the community followed by dinner. The highlight of the evening is when they open gifts from our club. Our members voluntarity "adopt" a girl and donates items from their wish list.

We didn’t hold a meeting in January, so this is when our board meets for the 2nd time.

In February, we hold a sweetheart themed potluck and invited speakers from the office of the Students Prospective Center in San Antonio. They diseemintate information mostly about financial aid. Our March meeting is called our Boutique Workshop. Our Boutique Chair host a working meeting at her house were a lot sanding, paintig, wrapping etc. occurs to prepare our items that will sell at Boutique.

Our April meeting included a game night with a wonderful potluck. We all learned a little more about Aggie Trivia as we played Aggie Jeopardy! Of coures, we packed up our vehicles and traveled to A&M to participate in Family Weekend Boutique. This year, we had a raffle booth as well as our usual tables inside the ballroom. Also, near the end of the month, moms traveled to Aggieland to deliver Goodie Bags which were sold for $20 to our membership to help student get through finals week.

During our May meeting we ate a donated meal that our hopitality team put together. After we had time to visit, we continued our meeting by honoring our graduates with an A&M portfolio. This semester we only had one graduate to honor. In addition, to honoring our well deserved graduate. The membership surprised the club president and presented her with a unique James Avery Aggie Mom charm. New to our club this year was the opportuntiy to participate in Aggie Day SA. We brout "Aggie Merch" to sell to prospective A&M students from the surrounding area.

In addition to the monthly meetings, we donate $75 to all our speakers. Some speakers are no longer affliated with a campus organization and so they choose what organization to make the donation to. Also, we offer at least 3 $100 scholarships at every meeting.

Other income comes from items that the universtiy hotel sells and our Chilis night. The hotel gives our club a percentage of the income they garner from our merchandise and Chilis also donates a percentage of sales from our members that visit the evening of our event.

All in all, we celebrated many success and awarded over $10,000 in scholarship and donated $300 to University organizations.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY The Rio Grande Valley Aggie Moms Club officially kicked off the year with our Howdy Party at the end of July. We invited all the new Aggies and their families from the area as well as contacting our current and former membership and their families. We had a great turnout that included many Aggie families whose students were accepted to the McAllen campus of TAMU. We were able to give a personal invite to the McAllen campus moms when we attended the McAllen campus NSC earlier in July to let the moms know about this awesome group of ladies.

August was a time for a few of our members to hear what Federation had planned for the year at the Fall Federation meeting. Our club membership came away from the weekend with a better understanding of the mission of the organization and awesome ideas on things we could start implemeting to make us a more effective organization

Our regular meetings resumed the 3rd Monday in September. At this meeting we presented our proposed budget to the members present. Membership present voted to accept the budget. This meeting also established the Chairs of various committees.

As we are known at Boutique as the "group with the stepping stones.' We had stepping stone workshops throughout the year. These are times we get together to work on the stones and maybe watch the Fighting Texas Aggies BTHO some opponent. It is also a time to discuss our pride in our Aggies and support one another if there is a problem. At our November meeting we put together Goody Bags for our Ags to help them through finals. For the kids that were not going to be home for the Thanksgiving Break to pick up their bag we had various moms volunteer to deliver them to College Station to make sure the student had their share. We started the New Year running. Winter Federation meeting once again gave club members insights on things we could do to help our students but more pressing for the club was organizing our annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. Posters and flyers were distributed to the membership so they could recruit teams and sponsors. We also made a final determination on what our Raffle prizes for Boutique would be and discussed Raffle Ticket sales.

We had a good number of members attend the District meeting in Alice in the Spring. It was a good time to hear Federation business updates for the members who did not make it to the Winter meeting and having the more intimate setting allowed for the exchange of information/ideas with members of the other clubs in attendance. We left the meeting with some great ideas about contacting our membership to help with monthly meeting attendance.

March was all about managing our Golf Tournament. This was the first year we had it before Boutique so we were a little more rushed than normal pulling things together. While still a success, we did not bring in as much money as past years. Our "after action report" has identified things that we will need to focus on to ensure upcoming years are more profitable. We did raise enough between the Golf Tournament and other designated scholarship fundraising to award money to all the eligible applicants we had this year.

Boutique was awesome as usual. We had lower sales than in past years but it appeared that there was a lot less foot traffic this year. The weather definitely was not the most cooperative! We introduced a new item for sale this year, "The Aggie Survival Guide and Cookbook," which sold very well. This book features many recipes contributed by our membership that are novice cook and budget friendly as well as helpful tips for those living on their own for the first time.

Several of our members attended the Spring Federation meeting for the first time this year! They were very impressed at what they heard and came away with a much better understanding of the mission of the organization. Kudos to the Spring meeting organizers!

Elections were held in April with a new President and Secretary elected into office. The Club voted to change our election process so that each officer serves a two year term and we elect alternate electing President and Secretary in one election with Vice President and Treasurer in the following year's election. We hope that will allow for better continuity of the Club and make more members willing to serve as officers knowing that there will be experienced individuals on the board with them. In May we awarded scholarships to our eligible applicants. We also voted to give donations to 15 different student organizations.

Donations to A&M: Small donations to organizations that speak to our club at our monthly meetings. This year we also did a fundraiser to support 12th Can.

Special Events:

Annual Tailgate – We select one football game a year to have a free tailgate hosted for our students and their friends.

RUSK COUNTY      Rusk County Aggie Mothers Club had 10 members during the 2018-2019 school year. Our club is a small club and is trying to rebuild its membership. On a regular basis, each meeting had an average attendance of 6.

Our club focuses on the moms just getting together and enjoying the camaraderie of being Aggie Moms. So basically, Rusk County Aggie Mothers Club is more of a social gathering where we talk about our students and things going on with them. The group had a tailgate party and attended an Aggie football game in November.

Our only fundraiser in 2018-2019 was our Howdy Dinner. The dinner was promoted on Facebook, invites to new incoming students and word of mouth. The dinner was attended by Former Aggie Students, Current Aggie Students, New Aggie Students and Aggie Moms.

Two hundred dollar Scholarships were given to all Aggie Students that attended the Howdy Dinner. Seven students were in attendance.

At our May meeting, Neva Hand was invited to hand out a scholarship to a new incoming Aggie student. This scholarship is given by the Hand family and honors their daughter Jamie Lynn Hand. Mrs. hand shares Jamie’s story and Jamie’s love of Texas A&M with the scholarship recipient.

SAN ANGELO Our club is very proud to announce that we dedicated our annual year book to Barbara Bush. This dedication was largely applauded. As of March 2019, our club has 87 members supporting 55 students. This past fiscal year (2018-2019), our club awarded eight $1,000 scholarships to outstanding students from our area. In addition, we will be supporting 10 student organizations, selected by our membership, with a $100 donation to each organization. Each semester, we support our members’ students by assembling Goody Bags, providing tutorial “Study Bucks” (up to $100 in vouchers for tutorials), and mailing $5 gift cards to support our students during Finals Week. We assemble the Goody Bags (consisting of school supplies and treats) during our November/March meetings. Our members deliver the Goody Bags to their students, while our club mails the gift cards directly to the students. Our club will also be ordering Ring Crest for those Aggies graduating in 2019.

Over the summer, the Board planned the calendar year and continued to host our membership kick-off meeting, “Aggie Moms 101”. We also presented potential members with a “Howdy packet” explaining the benefits and privileges of being a club member. We were encouraged by the high turnout of our first membership meeting in August, the “Aggie Moms 101” program targeted for new members to learn about the Aggie Traditions and the benefits of being part of our club. During the year, we also host a membership meeting each month (August-November and January-April). Our program officers provide a meal, time of fellowship, and program of interest to our members. We have set up a new gmail account; Whoop2021@gmail, to use email to communicate with our members concerning upcoming events and meetings. This year our club hosted a fundraiser in the fall,on October 13, 2018, we invited all Aggies and community members to join us at our Tailgate Fundraiser. We enjoyed a buffet of amazing tailgate food, games, and a chance to win some of the many prizes that were graciously donated to our event. This event was introduced to encourage more interaction between Aggies of all ages, and we plan to continue this or something similar each fall. The tailgate party total net profit was $5389.65. The event was a huge success made possible by our wonderful members and their families. Our second fundraiser for the year took place on January 11,2019 when we hosted the Texas A&M Singing Cadets at Southland Baptist Church. This was a great opportunity to share music and fellowship with residents of San Angelo and the surrounding communities. We were thrilled with the turnout and had a net profit of $1287.25. Traditionally our club hosts the Singing Cadets once every two years.

The San Angelo A&M Mothers’ Club Scholarship Luncheon has been an annual tradition for the past eleven years. Although we did not host the luncheon this year, due to the Singing Cadets,we are making plans to include this fundraiser in our spring calendar of events for next year.

We are currently making preparations for our 2019-2020 year.

We will hold our Officer Installation program on April 25, 2019, where we will install our new officers for the 2019 – 2020 year. We desire to continue to provide our membership with the “Spirit of Aggieland” right here in San Angelo along with fun and fellowship as we help them support their students at Texas.

SAN ANTONIO San Antonio Aggie Moms' club had a total of 238 paid members this year. The SA club publishes a yearly directory the electronic copy is included in membership and hard copies are available for $5. The Memberships begin at $25 for a Ring of Honor Mom (ROH Mom of a Graduate from College Station or Galveston campus), the regular memberships (Moms of current students) begin at $50, and we have higher level memberships which include a tax deductible monetary donation.

We have a "Howdy Social" in July where we invite the new incoming or transfer students to attend with their parents. The "Howdy Social" at Aggie Park is complete with Aggie Yell leaders (Yell Practice), an Ice Cream social, many of the student organizations to give information to the new Aggies, and Scholarship drawings and door prize drawings from our club as well as the San Antonio Prospective Student Center. We also make a Football poster which funds this event and provides additional funds to begin our year.

Meetings include dinner, speaker or activity, boutique, and Aggie Mom comaradrie. Our tables are decorated and some labeled for Corps Parents, ROH Moms, Former Presidents, and Speakers. This year some of our most memorable meeting programs included a visit by Dr. Musoma, from the business school, Frank Cox III '65 who wrote "I Bleed Maroon", Food Pantry where we donated almost 1000 pounds of food, and a fun gift swap during our December meeting.

Twice a year (Fall and Spring) the SA club provides Free Goody bags (items donated by businesses and parents) to approximately 250 of our Aggies from San Antonio, Bexar County area that attend College Station and Galveston campuses. The Board meets monthly usually the 3rd Tuesday of each month to organize and plan our upcoming meeting and events. The board consists of Officers and key committees.

Our Club has a Corps Parent Social and a support group throughout the year. The SA Club also has the privilege of providing the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band desserts after they perform at our yearly "Battle of Flowers" Parade. The A&M club feeds them lunch.

The SA club enjoys the Aggie Moms' Camp and had a good showing this year, as well as attending the Federation meetings to stay informed and to trade info with other clubs.

Our club also has the unique opportunity to participate and collaborate in many of the San Antonio A&M Club, Aggie Women's Club, and Young Aggie Club events at Aggie Park and build a better support system for our club including: Aggie Market Days, Coaches Night, Monday Lunch with Speaker,Family BBQ, Christmas Party ;Feed the Band, and Muster.

At year end our club will donate back to any organizations that helped us during the year or requested assistance for their causes usually approximately $2000.00 in addition to the scholarship we are funding.

SANDSTORM The Sandstorm Aggie Mom's Club in Odessa, TX meets on the first Monday of each month from September through May; however, we meet on the last Monday in August instead of Labor Day. We meet to provide support for each other and our students since A&M is a long way from West Texas. We try to find the families of incoming future Aggies to help prepare them for their new journey. We are a small club but we enjoy the fellowship and sending our Aggies goodies boxes and cards of encouragement during their semester finals.

We began our year in August with 17 members and 1 Adopt-A-Mom from Pennsylvania. Her son is in the same field of study as one of our Aggies, and there aren't any Aggie Mom clubs in her area so she was excited to join us. By the end of the year we also had an Aggie Granny join as an associate member to our club. As a new, incoming President and the mom of a first generation Aggie, I had a lot to learn. I began with collecting photos of all of our Aggies and put them on a giant poster board; we proudly display this board at each of our meetings. We had one meeting where we painted Christmas ornaments. It was so well-received that next year they want to do at least two more painting activities. We also had a family dinner in January where spouses and Aggies attended.

Twice a year we send out goodie boxes to our students at Halloween and Valentine's Day. This year our Aggies' younger siblings here in Odessa helped get the boxes ready to mail out for delivery. We also send out cards of encouragement before their semester finals. This year we mailed birthday cards and holiday cards as well. For the seniors that have just graduated, we give a $50 cash gift as a token from our club of their accomplishment.

Our annual fundraiser in February was very successful. We raffled a Jimbo signed football, a luxury spa gift basket, and a pair of Kendra Scott earrings. This allowed us to send out 14 donations to campus organizations as well as The Big Event and the Mothers' Club Library Endowment.

In March, we had three Aggie moms that were able to attend the district meeting in Lubbock. We learned some valuable information from these other district moms and have already implemented some of their ideas into our future club activities. We also made a club t-shirt and wore them to the district meeting.

These cups were filled with candies, a lanyard, an A&M pencil and an invitation to the Howdy Party. At the Howdy party, we met the incoming Aggies and their families and passed out awards to our Aggie Moms, including recognizing our two new Ring of Honor moms. WEST BELL COUNTY The West Bell County Texas A&M University Mothers’ Club is all about supporting our Aggie students in College Station and Galveston as well as the family they have left behind at home. A lot of mothers did not attend A&M, so this is a great way to learn the strong traditions and be aware of the activities and organizations that make Texas A&M special. We also encourage our local Aggies by mailing them a card on their birthday.

During our monthly meetings, mothers mingle, socialize and share tips on helping our students. Our Mom Mentor Moment included topics such as available tutoring options, Career Center resources, and how students can make the most of summers.

Being a smaller club of 24 members, we are better able to get to know one another and our Aggies. We dedicated one meeting to each class, beginning with the Class of ’19. Each mother brings photos and shares a little about her student (major studying, stories of student life, and TAMU student organization involvement and achievements). By the second semester, mothers of the Class of ’22 had plenty of successes to share too!

Our fundraisers, including our membership dues and our Fall and Spring BTHO Finals Goody Bags, helped us support six recognized campus student organizations in which our specific students are involved. This fall we supported Texas Runners Against Cancer, Institute of Food Technology Student Association of Texas A&M, and Habitat For Humanity. For the spring semester, A Batt, TAMU African Student Organization, and the Handball Club received donations.

Not to miss out on the camaraderie of Big Event, we are hosted our own service project with a non-perishable food drive for the 12th Can Food Pantry. Over 100 items were delivered to campus on April 29th.

Does any mother need another excuse to visit their Aggie? We invited all moms to join us to deliver goody bags on campus and have lunch together in College Station. It is even better if our Aggies can join us!

WICHITA COUNTY AREA Our club had 41 members this year.

We held two dining out fundraisers and received $175.00 from Jason's Deli and $200.00 from Texas Road House.

We awarded two scholarships in the fall for $600.00 and eight scholarships in the spring for $3,100.00

Fall scholarships were awarded when it was discovered that funds had not been dispersed in the Spring of 2018.

We met on the second Tuesday of the month to discuss Fundraising, Finals bags and network about our Aggies.

We prepared Finals bags both semesters and donated five bags a semester to Aggies who were from Gold Star families or Veterans.
