Overview and Mission ITS Program Offices administer

contract vehicles and deliver acquisition services to customer agencies to buy IT and telecommunications offerings and strategic solutions

National IT Commodity Program (NITCP) Division which has two branches that provides complete acquisition lifecycle support to government agencies. Branch A provides assisted acquisition support for federal and DoD agencies for the purchase of IT Commodities. Branch B manages Full Services IT Blanket Purchase Agreement and Co-Manages the GSA Reverse Auction Platform.

Scope

The fundamental scope of the 2GIT BPAs is to provide a streamlined process for procuring IT commodities, ancillary supplies and services, and associated software for federal agencies (both civilian and military), state and local government through the GSA Cooperative Purchasing Program which will support the Federal Communications eRate Program. The type of IT products that will be available through the 2GIT BPAs include Client Computing Devices, Peripherals, Data Center Equipment, Storage, Communications Equipment, Electronic Equipment, Fiber Optic Equipment, Ancillary Supplies and Service options and associated software.

Customers will be able to use the GSA Advantage on-line configurator to fulfill customized orders for IT Equipment and ancillary supplies or services which may be ordered in conjunction with support of products purchased.  The 2GIT BPAs will allow for delivery of equipment to Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.

Key Factors No grey market items – Vendors must demonstrate its ability to source products

directly from the original equipment manufacture (OEM) or an OEM authorized channel partner (i.e distributer)

Secure delivery – Vendors must demonstrate its ability to provide secure delivery to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Discounts offered must equal to other agency IDIQ or GWAC contracts.

Standardization of product listing on GSA Advantage

Standardization of laptop/desktop configurations using standard FSSI configurations for base units and using GSA On-line configurator to build

upgrade options and accessories to the base units.
