The Jewels Festival has a great panel of judges from USA, Japan, Ukraine, Bolshoi Theater and GITIS (Russian Institute of Theater Arts, Moscow, Russia). Jewels Festival workshops will be lead by some our FAMOUS JUDGES - Mr. Vadim Pisarev, Prima Ballerina Mrs. Eleanor D’Antuono and other great teachers. We hope that all contestants will have a very educated, interesting and exciting dance experience at all that Jewels Festival 2020 has to offer! A big award ceremony will conclude the event followed by a gala performance featuring 20 dancers selected throughout the competition. Each school will have a great opportunity to invite one or more of our judges for a master class or workshop at their school.   • COMPETITIONS

    Selection Each Solo, Pas de Deux and Ensemble contestant will have a choice to participate either in the full competition and try

    to win the Grand Prix award or can compete in just one dance category (see table below).

    Classical Variation, Neo-classical / Contemporary, Character - Folk dance, Stage acting. Solo contestants are age 7 to 23 on the January 2020.

    How to accept All participants need to send us a video of one dance (up to 2 min) and pre-registration form.

    Scholarships for summer programs will be presented by different ballet schools.

    WORKSHOPS Workshop included MASTER CLASSES of Ballet, Character and Stage acting.

    STAGE ACTING MASTER CLASS – Friday, February 7 3pm – 8pm, all groups. Master class teacher - Each dancer who prepare a stage acting dance will have a chance to show this work at the master class, get correction,

    work on the corrections and show it again before the competition.

    MASTER CLASSES OF CLASSICAL BALLET (VAGANOVA METHOD) – Saturday and Sunday

    Groups A, B - Saturday 2pm - 3:30, Sunday 10am – 11:30am

    Group C, D – Saturday 3:30 and 5pm, Sunday 11:30

    Group E, F, G – Saturday 10am and 11:30, Sunday 1:00 – 2:30 Master class included barre, center and jumps

    MASTER CLASSES OF CHARACTER DANCE – Saturday and Sunday Group C, D – Saturday 10am – 11:30am. Master class teachers – Svetlana Al Neyadi

    Group E, F, G – Sunday Master class teachers – VitalyVertich

    Master class included barre and center in character tradition, turns and different combinations in different style of dance.
