With Burning Hearts seeks a fuller understanding
of Eucharist through the story of the disciples on
their way to Emmaus from Jerusalem. Henri
Nouwen shows us how the Eucharistic event is
intensely human. With Burning Hearts calls us to
experience all of this journey, to know what we
celebrate and what we are called to live are one
and the same. Please register by February 6.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION PROGRAM:
Join us for the Celebration of First Reconciliation on Saturday,
February 9 at 11:00 am in the church.
A reminder that session 1 for First Eucharist is Sunday, February 10 at 8:45.in the Vatican II Hall.

PRINCIPLES OF IGNATION LEADERSHIP: How can the characteristics of Ignatian Leadership guide us today? Thursday, February 7, 5:30 – 9:00 PM FCJ Retreat & Conference Centre. This evening workshop provides practical insights from the vision and spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola. LATIN MASS: First Communion will be celebrated this year on May 19 during the 12:30 Mass. Parents wishing to have their children receive the Sacrament are asked to please register with the parish office by February 15. Preparation classes begin Sunday, February 24, 2-3:30 pm in the St. John Paul II meeting room. Registration forms are available on the bulletin board.

MOUNT ST. FRANCIS RETREAT: A Day Away
February 13th Enjoy a silent day away in the beautiful
setting of Mount St. Francis Retreat (9:00 a.m. – 3:00
p.m.). This year’s theme is “The Lord’s Prayer”. The day
includes a prayerful reflection on the focus of the day,
celebration of the Eucharist and a home-cooked lunch.

FR. JACK’S CHUCKLE
Three grown-ups were having morning coffee in the
kitchen while the children played on the floor. The
conversation turned to what each would do if danger
threatened, and each of the grown-ups said that the
first thing they would do was save the children.
Suddenly the safety valve of the pressure cooker
burst, creating an explosion of steam in the room.
Within seconds everyone was out of the kitchen—
except for the kids playing on the floor.

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL
Our Perpetual Adoration Chapel, open 24 hours a day since its establishment in August 2003, has been a source of grace and spiritual growth for our Church and the world. Consider becoming a Committed Adorer and/or substitute Adorer. Devote an hour each week before the Most Blessed Sacrament, experience His abundant blessings and participate in His Salvation plan. To make a commitment please call the parish office at 403-252-1137 or simply mark the vacant space on the master schedule located by the front door of the chapel or the breezeway with your full name and phone number. Our greatest need is for committed and substitute adorers from 10 pm
until 6 am daily, and specifically the following hours:
Committed Adorers are required for:
