Friday March 6th

TTDC will be closed for

CPR/1st AID training.

January was so much fun! We had a great time learning about the science

behind winter and snow. We also learned about Martin Luther King Jr. and

about his dream. Children promised to change the world for better and

were very enthusiastic to share their dreams for the future world.

In February we will learn about dental health and Dr. Seuss. We will

continue focusing on writing letters/numbers and sounding out the

letters. Children are enjoying when the teacher spells out their names

while taking attendance.

If the weather permits (hopefully) we will try to go out to play; parents,

please send your child with warm jacket, snow pants, gloves, hat and

boots. Our children don’t want to miss the snow fun.

Hello all, we want to start off by welcoming the newest addition to the

family Ms. Julissa. Ms. Jasmin is the new Bumblebee teacher downstairs

with Ms. Vanessa

Welcome to the month of friendship… This month will be very fun and

enjoyable to our students. We will encourage our students to learn how to

value our friends. We will discuss what friends are? What we like about

our friends? What can you do with your friends? We will also be hosting a

friendship party on Friday February the 14th. Please see teachers for more

information. TTDC is a SUGAR FREE ZONE !!!!!

Throughout the month we will also be engaging in numbers, graphing,

writing and word recognition. Also, we will be honoring black history

month. We will be learning about Garrett Morgan, Barack Obama & Jackie

Robinson. If you have any questions please feel free to see Mrs. Maritza,

Ms. Julissa or Mr. Robert.

We had so much fun last month with our Clothes study, we learned so many things about

clothes and even had the chance to sort silly socks, fold clothes and wash baby clothes by

hand. This is a new month and the start of a new topic. The month of February is the

perfect time to talk about the importance of friendship and being kind to one another. We

will incorporate that all month long as we begin our Box Study!!

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day in our classroom. Our Valentines party will be held

on Friday the 14th of February. We will pass out our friendship cards to each other and

have sweetheart’s activities. Children are encouraged to bring valentines cards to pass out

to their friends and as for treats you may bring sugar free fruit snacks or sugar free organic

candy or little goodies like pencils, crayons, or play doh as little gifts. (not mandatory).

We are asking for the children to wear red or white for a classroom picture. Please and

thank you!

My name is Ms. Jasmin & I am very excited to be working with your

children along with Ms. Vanessa. I have been here at Toddler Town for

almost 2 years and I am taking over for Ms. Norma as she has moved

on with an opportunity that betters her and her family. We wish Ms.

Norma the best but I assure you that you are in good hands with Ms.

Vanessa and myself. During the month of February, we will be learning

about the significance of kindness and friendship. We will talk about

hearts and the colors pink, red, and yellow (Valentine’s Day colors).. It

is time for checkpoints as of 2/14/2020 and I will try to answer as

many questions as possible but please keep in mind that I have only

been in the class for less than a week. Please feel free to contact us if
