Princess February brings us another Ceremony of Initiation and more new members! I hope everyone will be able to come out and welcome them on Saturday, February 20th. Don’t forget it’s time for Elections

too! Also, I hope to see everyone at the Sock Hop on February 27th… it should be a rockin’ good time! As Transportation Chairwoman I’ve been looking into flights to California for Grand Council in May. Currently

the prices remain around $230 round trip. At the March Court meeting, I will have a signup sheet for car pools in case that’s the way people want to go.

I’ve been busy preparing for my year as High Priestess and I’d like everyone to hold the date for the Installa-tion of Officers – Saturday, April 9th, starting at 2pm. Stay tuned for more details. I’ve been talking to many of you about appointed positions in the Court. If you haven’t already done so, please contact me with your measure-ments for the Court outfit for next year.

Associate Princess Another bag has been delivered to Mexico Hospital and a big box is on its way to the Los Angeles Hos-pital. Thank you Illustrious Sir Chris, you have been wonderful. Thank you ladies for all of the wonderful

items you have donated. For February, I would appreciate either money for my special trike project or toys for babies. Thank you all again.

Second Ceremonial Lady This is our month of election of officers and ceremonial for new members. We also have the Sock Hop going on at the end of the month. We have our Grand Council Session coming up in May. Even if you’re not a line officer I really encour-

age you to go and learn a little more about LOS and meet our Grand Officers. This year our Grand Council Ses-sion will be in California so make a reservation and jump in a car with us, we will get you there. We get to perform during the session and always have a great time meeting new people.

Please read all of the units’ articles and try to attend a meeting or two to get out and get involved. Find out what your return on investment is and find a fit for you. If you all need anything, please contact me.

Greeters Unit The next meeting of the Greeters Unit will be on

February 6, 2016, at 808 E Missouri; 3rd floor of the Madison Gardens Senior Community. It is a very nice meeting room and will accommodate all of our mem-bers and visitors with ease. This meeting will be elec-tions of officers, so be sure to come and vote for your choice to lead us for the next year. We will also be discussing WAOUM 2017 and our upcoming perfor-mances, so come prepared with your suggestions.

Present and past members of the unit please call or text me at 480-797-9601; or email me at [email protected] and let me know who still has a Greeters purple dress. I would like to start having the members wear it at the meetings of the court; at least those who are not officers or aides anyway.

To all our new members, please join us for our meeting and come and get to know all of us. We would love to greet you.

Funeral Committee Our Past High Priestess Lila Bishop passed into

those golden gates several months ago, but there was no ceremony from her beloved LOS.

We urge all of her friends to make plans to at-tend. I know it will be a short ceremony, but one of our own has made this request, and we want to do whatever we can.

I will be contacting all of our Past High Priestess, to assist in the ceremony, and I thank you all in ad-vance.
