It is 2014 for the Grand Prix Region and we are excited about all the plans and new things that we have in the works. There is our fabulous Palos Verdes Peninsula Tour & Lunch on February 15th lead by Tour Co-chairs Marty Goldsmith and Jeff Peck.

Fast approaching on March 17th is the time honoured tradition of GPX, our Day Away from Work Drivers Ed & Autocross, which is a wonderful Performance Driving event for everyone from the novice to the experienced driver on the Fastest Track in the West (OK, so maybe it's Big Willow they're talking about, while our event is held on the smaller Streets of Willow track).

Registration for both events is no open on Motorsportreg.com. Our registrar (and the most recent Zone 8 Enthusiast of the Year) Colleen Stein, will happily help you with any issues you may experience with the registration process. [email protected]. If you have other questions about Day Away please contact [email protected] or Dave Hockett at [email protected].

One of the annual Porsche Club highlights is the Concours season. Whether participating at a regional, Zone or na-tional level (Porsche Parade), the effort Concours people go through to prepare their cars is something to behold. Concours d' Elegance is a French term denoting a gathering together of automobiles in competition for judging of their respective merits in terms of coach work, design, finish and appointments. In the Porsche Club of America (PCA) we are concerned with only one marque, Porsche.

It is a show or contest of vehicles and accessories in which the owners are judged on appearance, turnout and cleanli-ness. And are they ever judged! The judges look for clean grease and points can be lost for the smallest of details being missed. If you have an experience of how car racing can be exciting and tense and a game of inches, the same thing can be said of concouring. This is serious business, and many of the entrants take it VERY seriously. As much as I do enjoy a tightly pitches defensive baseball game that ends in a 1-0 score, a well judged concours is a masterpiece that takes skill and endurance and it must be well planned.

Grand Prix Region has such a team, and our 2014 event is already taking shape. Our date is May 18th, so please mark your calendar now whether you are entering for the first or fortieth time, or you are interested in just displaying you car. Or perhaps, like me, you just want to wander around and look at the beauty of the cars and watch the amazing competition and judging, and just be part of a glorious day in Southern California.

This year Grand Prix Region is absolutely thrilled about our Concours team. Heading up the team is a pair of co-chairs. The first is the epitome of elegance itself, Ms. Linda Cobarrubias, a past president of Grand Prix Region and a past Zone 8 Concours Chair. At her side on this adventure is a man of sophistication and style, Mr. Dick Douglass, who is a new member of our region, but certainly not new to the high tension, grace and competition of the Zone 8 Concours d’Elegance series. Dick and Linda have been friends and concours competitors for decades. Dick's recent move from the Central California coast to Southern California has brought his experience and expertice to GPX, and we do appreciate it. Also back again (and we couldn’t be happier) is our Head Judge, the brilliant Doc Pryor.

This is going to be a great Concours for Grand Prix Region, so please watch in the coming weeks for more details. We want to welcome our new sponsor for our 2014 Concours d’ Elegance, the Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills.

If you are interested in learning some of the insider secrets about this fascinating, competitive event, there are two opportunities coming up in the next six weeks. The first is February 8th at Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena, and the second will be hosted by San Diego Region at TCs Garage in Vista on March 15th. Both are Zone 8 events and both can be found on Motorsportreg.com. Advertising for both these schools are on page 26 of this issue.

As always. if you have questions, concerns or comments, please contact me at [email protected].

Skip Carter

February 2014

Between my '98 F-150 or '13 Prius, the Prius was is daily driver. You'd never brag about it's power, but it zips around corners and was very stable at speeds in excess of 105 mph (we did tests). So it's an OK car for around town or out on the highway. Please appreciate that had been my mind set until recently, A year ago my Porsche inventory amounted to the '64SC Cab I've had since 1971. This will sound like sacrilege to many, but given the choice, the Prius was a better car to be out on the street with. It's not just having a heater (or AC. After all, you put the top up on a hot summer day, lower the back window, open the side vents and roll down the door windows, and you could get a reasonably cool breeze going through - if you stayed at freeway speeds).

Add to that a partner who is not fond of heat or cold (or wind in her hair) and... The 356 mostly sits.

The middle of last year a buddy and I bought a 944 Spec racer and trailer. It's a great track car and we're enjoying that... But it is not a street car.

Last fall I had the opportunity to purchase a '74 914 2.0 I'd sold to a friend about 12 years ago. It was a great little autocrosser with 15" Fuchs, sway bars and springs. Unfor-tunately, sitting in a field for 10 years had not done it any good, but it didn't take much to get it running. What fun it was zipping around in that thing. I have to tell you, the dif-ference between driving the 356 and the 914 was night and day. The 914 felt like a sports car. The 356 fells like a sports car from one or two generations earlier.

So, the 914 is back in the hospital for a couple of months getting it more road worthy. In the interim, Suesan and I purchased a new Cayenne Turbo Diesel, which we've had for almost two months and 5,000 miles. We just finished a road trip through the Mojave Desert, up and across to Monterey, then to Big Sur and home. It was a lovely week on the road.

The point I'm getting to is that the perspective I presented in the beginning of this article has changed and will never be the same. I will love driving that 914, but the Cayenne has spoiled me. As an instructor, I've been in and behind the wheel of every model Boxster, 911 and Cayman. Those were great cars, but I managed to keep them from "getting under

my skin" (some sort of mental block). Those days are over. The Prius feels awfully tinny these days, and I find myself wondering if a 991 GT3 might fit in my life some day. You just never know.

Anyway, I think about the difference a year has made. From the 356 there's now a 944 track car, a 914 and the Cayenne. How did that happen? I'm not completely sure, but I'm not complaining. I think it may be time to consider selling the 356. Who knows, it may fund that GT3 some day.

The 2013 Tech Tactics West was held on November 23rd at the Ontario, California PCNA training center after the completion of the Los Angeles Auto Show. At both these events, Porsche introduced three new 2014 mod-els; the 991 Turbo Carrera along with the 991 Turbo GT-3 and the new compact Macan SUV series.

This was the third yearly west coast Tech Tactics and featured Porsche fac-tory speakers on the Macan along with PCNA speakers on the 991 Turbo and Panamera S E-Hybrid. In addition, there were three PCA speakers addressing owner problems as well as representatives from Mobil 1, Michelin, and Griot’s providing discussions on Porsche applica-tions of their products.

With eleven speakers and three different presentation rooms, it made for a busy, one-day meeting to ab-sorb all the available information. This problem was partially solved by providing each attendant with a USB thumb drive that contained copies of most of the presentations, including the Porsche press release information on the new cars and meeting notes (Reference 1 and 2). This was a sold out event, and the 130 participants was about the maximum allowed in the main meeting room. National PCA officers present includedded President Manny Alban, Vice President Caren Cooper, and Vu Nguyen, National Executive Director. Kevin Heimbaugh, PCA National Tech Chairman was also there. The following notes summarize some of the highlights of the meetings.

2014 911 Turbo Carrera The long awaited introduction of the latest 911 (991) Turbo Carrera was made at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tech Tactics West the same week. There was a new Turbo Carrera S on display in Ontario as well as a sepa-rate display of the turbo engine mounted on an engine stand. There will be two engine options offered right from the start of production; a base 991 turbo engine with 520 hp and a 991S turbo with 560 hp. Both engines are 3.8 liters in displacement. A good summary of both models was presented in the October Panorama (Reference 3). The base prices quoted in Refer-ence 3 of $149,250 for the base 520 hp Turbo almost seems reasonable compared to the $138,750 for the 2014 50th Anniversary model 911 with 430 hp. Those prices included a 6-speed manual transmission on the nor-mally aspirated anniversary model but a PDK on the Turbo, since the PDK is the only transmission currently offered on the 991 Turbo. The most impressive performance feature on the new turbo is the very smooth transi-tion to maximum boost torque at 2000 rpm, which is then constant all the way out to almost 5000 rpm before starting to decline. With the Sport Chrono, there is also a 20 second overboost available which can provide a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 2.9 seconds with 560 hp. The Tech Tactics display car was a metallic grey Turbo S coupe mounted on a lift that could be raised for underside inspections. The twin turbo installation including the compressor intercoolers result in the rear fend-ers being wider than the normally aspirated 3.8 liter 991 engines. The new Turbo models also have several additional driving aids that have not previously been offered. The front and rear spoilers have been upgraded and now have variable configurations that change with speed. The front air dam is mounted with three inflatable air bags that can be retracted into

a smoothly fitting contour on the lower edge of the front bumper. Improved ground clearance is achieved for low speed driveways and parking. In addi-tion, in the center of the front bumper opening there is now a small, spherical optical sensor to provide hazard avoidance. This was previously used on the Panamera. Top speeds listed for the 991 Turbos are now 196 mph for the base model and 198 for the S model.

One of the most intriguing new features is the addition of rear wheel steering. Electro mechanical actuators are added in place of the rear suspension tie-rods to adjust the rear steering both in the same direction as the front steering or in the opposite direction. Up to 31 mph, the rear wheels are turned in the opposite direction as the fronts and the overall car turning radius is reduced. Above 50 mph, the rear wheels turn the same direction and help overall stability.

2014 Macan Compact SUVThe Los Angeles Auto Show was the world premiere for the new Macan compact SUV, and the Porsche factory representative, Daniel Vasilliadis, came to Tech Tactics West to brief PCA on the new model. This meeting provided the first discussion and data on Porsche’s new, smaller SUV, which is aimed at the entry level market with strong sports car overtones in the design. The Macan name was derived from an Indonesian tiger.

Attendees all received bound copies of the first brochures on the new model, which have most of the critical sizing features defined but do not include any fuel mileage data as yet (Reference 4). The new compact SUV is 18 inches shorter than the Cayenne and has 19 inch wheels (but is still a little over

4000 pounds). However, a review of the first specifi-cation listings indicates Porsche is serious about per-formance–the first two engine options are both twin turbo six cylinder engines; a 3.0 liter 340 hp engine in Macan S and a 3.6 liter 400 hp engine in the Ma-can Turbo. Acceleration times to 60 mph are quoted as 5.2 seconds for the Macan S and 4.6 seconds for the Macan Turbo. These times can be reduced with the Sport Chrono by 0.2 second. The PDK trans-mission is standard on both models. The top track speeds shown are 156 mph for the Macan S and 164 mph for the Macan Turbo. Current indications are that it will be late spring before we see the new Macan models in our local dealer showrooms as 2015 models. Prices are estimated to start below $50,000, so it may be the least expensive Porsche model. Autoweek’s report on the Los Angeles show expects there to be an additional four cylinder model.

The introduction of all these several new Porsche Turbo models (including the new Panamera Turbo S) would seem to indicate a trend toward increased application and usage of turbo charged internal combustion engines. Turbo charging an internal combustion engine has the theoretical advantage of providing substantial increases in performance without adding any additional engine loads or losses when the engine is operated at lower loads and cruising speeds. Smaller displacement engines with turbo chargers for performance when needed for temporary higher loads would seem to be a logical approach in the current goal of reducing internal combustion petroleum usage.

In addition to discussions on the newest Porsches, Tech Tactics topics also dealt with continuing main-tenance on older models. Tony Callas, a Grand Prix Region member who operates a Callas Rennsport, a Porsche service shop in Torrance (www.callasrennsport.com), provided an entertaining discussion titled, “The many ways we abuse our Porsches,” that dealt with owner operation and maintenance practices. His color photos of internal engine problems from overhead cam drives, oil filter residue and over modified components got everyone’s attention. In addition to Tony’s presentation, there were also PCA presentations on tuning 911s and an owner’s guide on the care and maintenance of the earlier Porsche sports car fuel injection systems. The Mobil 1 representative, Robin Hood, described the current range of Mobil 1 synthetic oils that are used by Porsche in production of their new models and the additional Mobil 1 oils available for earlier models. For early flat tappet engines such as in the 356, 912, and 914/4 models, we had previously suggested Mobil 1 15W-50 EP. Mr. Hood is saying there is now a Mobil 1 oil called R15W- 50 that is the equivalent of what was previously called 15W-50 EP.

This west coast Tech Tactics meeting in the fall provides a good opportunity for PCA members to compare notes on caring for their current Porsches with both the Porsche Factory representatives and the PCNA specialists as well as other PCA attendees as we work on our winter projects in preparation for the 2014 driving season.

Werks Reunion — A Porsche Gathering coming to Carmel Valley in August

The Porsche Club of America is set to begin a new tradition in with the inaugural Werks Reunion. The new, premier Porsche event will take place on Friday, August 15, during the world-famous “Car Week” on California’s Monterey Peninsula.

In years past, PCA co-hosted Legends of the Autobahn at the Rancho Cañada Golf Club. For 2014, the club will host a dedicated event to celebrate Porsche automobiles on the very same fairways. Expect a breathtaking array of Porsches, from rare classics to customs, race cars, current models, and everything in between. PCA will host the event with participation from Porsche Cars North America. National PCA Sponsors will also be present with exhibits and displays.

Werks Reunion is open to all and tagged as “A Porsche Gathering” for a reason: PCA is inviting other Porsche clubs to join in the fun! Werks Reunion is intended to be a new way for all Porsche owners to mingle during Monterey’s annual auto extravaganza. As a result, the Porsche Owners Club, Porsche Racing Club, 356 Registry, 356 Club, Early 911S Registry, R Gruppe, 914 World, and all Porsche clubs and registries are welcome. Membership in PCA is not required.

Porsche owners looking to compete will have the choice of entering their cars in either the people's choice or concours categories. Special, one-of-a-kind trophies are being made just for this event. Other Porsche owners will have the opportunity to include their car in the display only Porsche corral. All will be treated to a stunning display of more than 500 Porsches, access vendors, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow car enthusiasts. The 2014 show will feature the latest Porsches, special vehicle presentations, celebrity guests, and a surprise or two.

2014 Werks Reunion —PCA to set new tradition at Monterey Car WeekPCA National Press Release — December 27, 2013 Well it looks like if you’re getting a new Porsche you’re going to have to

take lessons in German because you’ll need to be able to say Porsche Dop-pelkupplungsgetriebe, please. This is the wave of the future, the new(er) 7 speed dual clutch transmission from Porsche, now in it’s third generation. Even the new GT3 is now only offered exclusively with PDK. You cannot get it with a stick shift!

To me, sports cars made a connection between the driver and the car through the shifter. Taking a manual transmission Porsche to the track or to a spirited drive on tight and winding mountain roads is like going to church. Having to con-centrate on accelerating, braking, steering and shifting, and making it all seem effortless and appear like a ballet requires a lot of effort and after a session like that I generally finish cleansed in body and soul.

One of my fondest memories is remembering my Dad teaching me to drive. Learning to synchronize the letting out of the clutch with the left foot while smoothly accelerating with the right was jarring to say the least. I remember jerking forward and stopping as my left foot let out too soon, but I overcame and, within a short time, became a very smooth driver. A year or so later my Dad decided that it was time for me to learn to heel-and-toe. He was then (as I am now) a track junkie. Having one of his sons also enjoy anything that burned rubber and gaso-line made him want to teach me everything he knew about cars, and he knew a great deal.

There’s no doubt that the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe is an incredible feat of engineering capable of extremely fast shifting, and it also makes shift points get their bearings from the driving dynamics of the driver. Upshifts (and espe-cially downshifts) are perfect and made almost at the speed of light! Downshifts are even done with rev-matching, much better than what we can heel-and-toe in our dreams!

But I’m now somewhat saddened because my children probably won’t be able to teach my grandkids how to drive a stick, because there won’t be any! Well, there’ll be my Boxster, which will live forever, but ... you know what I mean. Porsche calls it a dual-clutch manual, but we all know it’s an automatic. I mean, it shifts for you without any input, and that’s the definition of an automatic, even though it has some pretty cool steering wheel-mounted shift paddles.

So, the joy of being one with the car and the road will very soon come to an end when the last Porsche stick shift is made (probably sooner than we expect). But if there’s one thing I enjoy more than shifting and heel-and-toe’ing, it’s lowering my lap times at the track, so I can’t wait to have one of the new generation Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe-equipped Porsches!!!

I guess I’ll just start teaching German to my grandkids so that they can properly pronounce: Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe. To learn more about the PDK please visit my website at: wwwPedrosGarage.com.

Happy Porsche’ing

2014 has started off with a bang! Our second an-nual Zone 8 Weekender was an amazing success, combining a driving tour, a Concours and the Zone 8 Awards Banquet in beautiful Palm Springs. Our host venue was the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort, which provided a gorgeous spot for the competing Porsches, as well as a fun venue for a delicious din-ner. Our emcee for the evening was Mark Shevitz, PCA’s National Parade Emcee. His warm wit and sharp tongue made for a very entertaining evening as we distributed awards, appreciation gifts and door prizes.

Jeff Zwart was the surprise guest speaker. For those of you who don’t Jeff, he is famous for his photography and film making (having made a career out of producing advertising for Porsche and other companies) and for his racing skills (seven time Pike’s Peak Champion. Most interviews either start or end with something like “I want to be Jeff when I grow up.”

A very important part of the evening is recognizing the best of the best. The 2013 Zone 8 Enthusiast of the Year, from the Los Angeles Region, is Colleen Stein. Colleen has only been a member of PCA for three years, yet she jumped in with both feet and has never looked back. She regularly at-tends Concours events around the zone, both as an entrant and a judge, she has chaired many events, she always volun-teers, she engages new members, and is always bubbling with enthusiasm. Thank you, Colleen, for everything you do to make this club great.

Please also join me in congratulating Golden Empire Region, the 2013 Zone 8 Region of the Year. Golden Empire had a terrific year with a wide variety and large number of quality events which speaks highly of the health of the region. The sheer number of members that attend most every event (and volunteer at them) is incredible. This region is very strong and dynamic, and is channeling its energy into a lot of fun events. Both Colleen and Golden Empire are very deserving of these honors!

I would also like to thank Don Roof, national Region Web Coordinator, for hosting a web and newsletter seminar for our zone webmasters and editors. Finally, I am reminded to give a warm and appreciative thank you to our sponsor, Auto Gallery.

The zone’s first club race of the year, our California Festival of Speed, is coming up quickly — April 4-6. Those of you who attended last year know this event has grown leaps and bounds, and this year will be no different. In addition to an incredible weekend of racing, the festival aspect of this event will be bigger and better. We will have more vendors, a food truck court (better food!), the Porsche Concours and Corral, Parade laps, driving simulators, mini-autocross, swap meet, cars for sale and more. For more information, email: [email protected]. To volunteer (We need you!) email: [email protected]

Looking farther down the road, PCA is bringing the Werks Reunion to Monterey Historics week. This Porsche only Concours and Corral will finally give Porsche and PCA the spotlight they deserve. Werks Reunion will be held on Friday, the same day as the BMW club’s Legends of the Au-tobahn (I hear that Concorso Italiano is moving to Saturday, so they will no longer conflict.) Bring your Porsche and be there, it promises to be a great event!

Grand Prix Holiday Partystory by skip carter

photos by jimmie mitchell

On Saturday evening, December 7, we had our annual Holiday Party, again at the Long Beach Yacht Club. Re-member several years ago when we had 40 or 50 attend-ees, and had to squeeze into that small room that now houses our Silent Auction? Now that we're tipping 100 attendees, we've got a little elbow room.

The Yacht Club came into existence in 1929, and the building that housed us came about in 1959. The build-ing just oozes wood boats. You can smell and feel it.

The evening was similar to recent years, al-though we did miss our live auctioneer working from atop the tables. The biggest surprise was the total loss of power 45 minutes before dinner was supposed to be served. The saving grace were the LED flashlights our esteemed presi-dent has obtained for each person's goodie bag. Soon the tables were adorned with gold paper bags aglow from the new flashlights.

Power came back on just in time for dinner, but about 3/4 of the way through, out the lights went again. Everyone stayed in good humor once we knew food was on the way. The rest was just fun.

by Bruce Herrington, Orange Coast RegionBook Reviews for PorschephilesTheLastOpenRoadby B.S. Levy, published by THINK FAST INK, Oak Park, IL

Bruce Herrington

This book is the first in a series of novels on the life and times of Buddy Palumbo, a largely self taught auto mechanic with friends/customers involved with sportscars in the early years of the sports car movement in America. Written in 1994, this book includes a realistic portrayal of the sports car racing scene of the '50s and is now in its 8th printing. In addition to name-dropping a who's who of sports car drivers and racing venues (mostly East Coast), a wide variety of marques (even Bandini and Siata) get mentioned in appro-priate contexts. Most of the action involves Allards, Jaguars and MGs.

In all the time I have been writing book reviews for Porschephiles, I have never before reviewed a work of fiction. Though this book follows a fictional character and his fictional associates, and is replete with fictional conversations, the details of the sportscar racing events dealt with are real and accurate, as are remarks about world events that are woven into the story. An interesting touch is the number of then current popular songs, and their perform-ers, that provide background to the text, as they provided background to the activities of the protagonists.

Levy writes a very readable story of Ameri-can life in the '50s. He tends toward ver-bose sentences and long paragraphs, but the action is always fast-paced. There are no photographs, but his writing is such that it is easy to visualize the events described. He provides detailed and historically accurate descriptions of venues and events, overlain by the actions and conversations of the fictional characters. The first person narrative in The Last Open Road, combined with the vivid descriptions, makes it easy to feel that you are really there and no longer in your personal everyday real world. This is true of the whole book, the family, workplace and dating episodes, as much as the racing scenes.

The race reports refer to real people and real events, overlain by the activities and conversations of the fictional characters. Old timers, especially easterners will recognize the names of many of the drivers and car owners, even some who are camouflaged (such as the sanctioning body, the Sports Car

Motoring Association (SCMA)) which is made to look like a bunch of arrogant, self-centered, bureau-crats, similar to the SCCA officials this reviewer used to encounter.

To this reviewer's best recollection, The Last Open Road accurately presents the exuberance and enthusiasm of sportscar racers

(and their support personnel) in the '50s, and the unbelievable (by mod-ern standards) laid-back casualness of the racing events included in the story. Venues involved include Bridge-hampton, Giant's Despair, Brynfan Tyddyn, Grand Island (New York State), Elkhart Lake, and The Glen. The action is so true-to-life that you can follow the streets raced on, and the bars hopped to, on today's Google Maps. Some reference is made to the sportscar activity of the West Coast, but the author was an easterner, so he writes about what he experienced.

Even if you can't appreciate the histori-cal antecedents for some of the events described, or even care about sports car racing per se, Levy makes the life and

times of Buddy Palumbo a captivating read for anyone. You should read it if only to answer the challenge (which this reviewer failed) of determining how the title relates to the story.

The Last Open Road has 364 6x9 inch pages and is available for $30 (plus $6 shipping) at http://www.lastopenroad.com/finzios/books2010.htm That website will open the door to a view of Mr. Levy's intensive involvement in modern vintage racing, as well as the entire world of his books, all of which have sportscar racing connotations.

Grand Prix Region Hospitality TentSunday, March 2Phoenix Club in AnaheimFor 30 years Southern California has hosted the LA Lit and Toy Show (www.LALitandToyShow.com), a world class, ex-ceptional place to buy / sell / trade things vintage Porsche (and Vintage VW) — books, models, parts, toys, literature and more.

The days around the Lit Meet are made more exciting with Open Houses at various Vintage Porsche shops. The big finale is Sunday at the So Cal All-Porsche Swap and Car Display held at the Phoenix Club (1340 South Sanderson, Anaheim).

Grand Prix Region will have our usual Hospitality Tent. Stop by and say "hello." Suesan is looking for volunteers to work 2-hour shifts on Sunday — [email protected] or (619) 992-4287

Event sponsor, the 356 Club of Southern California will have indoor vendor displays in the FestHalle, plus 2 acres of ven-dors and swappers, and a grass soccer field for car corrals (Previous years parking problems have been solved). This event takes us back to a simpler time in a very unique setting; to a time when the Internet was not your primary source for used Porsche parts; a time when the local Southern California Porsche owner's gathered each winter to swap, fender fondle, see old friends and appreciate the breed. There will be vendors dedicated to our Porsche hobby and plenty of swap space will be available. If you have a car for sale, bring it, put a sign in the window and sell it.

Porsche cars donate $20 for display parking, so pile your friends in! Gates open to Porsche parking at 8 AM. Seeing all the Porsche's parked there will be incredible! The walk-in gate opens at 8:00 and admission is $10. Breakfast and lunch with a German flavor are available. Be sure you stop by the Bierstube. Accommodations are at Ayres Suites, Anaheim, 2550 E. Katella Ave (714) 634-2106.

Swappers make a $40 donation per space - first come first served. In-door vendor space is $80 per space (must be reserved by Feb 15). Con-tact Bob Lee at [email protected] or (619) 518-8645 for vendor info. Swapper/vendor gates open at 6:00. A portion of the proceeds goes to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (http://www.cff.org/).

We look forward to seeing you and your Porsche. Bring whatever money you have leftover from the Lit Meet, your Porsche, Porsche friends and join us for a celebration of Porsche!

For info, contact Jeff Trask at [email protected] or (949) 697-4499 or Pete McNulty at [email protected] or (949) 400-9319. Let us know how you want to be involved!
