NORAQUA, Engineering Consultants, ltd, was founded as a company in 1981 and resulted from bringing together the efforts its founding partners - civil engineering graduates - had been developing separately in basic sanitation research and projects. It also resulted from the increasing need, felt by everyone, to increment added value to research through introducing new competencies.

Currently the company is ongoing implementation process of certification of quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008.
