Chauncey grew up in Chicago, and is a graduate of John Hope College Prep. He is also a graduate of the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, and has a Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School, New Haven, CT. Chauncey was one of nine candidates in our search process. Youth House Restoration Youth House Restoration Youth House Restoration Youth House Restoration ---- The council received an inspector’s report on the youth house (house off parking lot behind church), and hope to begin what may be a multi-year project to renovate this church prop-erty. Our new youth & family director will con-tinue to live in Hyde Park, so will not be using the house now. The first project we hope to accomplish is addressing the need for a new roof. We’d like to secure the structure from further leaks before moving on to additional needs inside. A dedicated fund has been start-ed, and we invite you to consider helping with this new property project need.
