15.Startingatthesewnseam,drawa45°linetotheedgeofthefabric.Sewonthatline.Trimtheexcessfabricleavinga1/4"seam.Repeatonremainingcorners.

16.Layerthebacking(wrongsideup),battingandquilttop(rightsideup).Bastelayerstosecure.Quiltasdesired.Trimtheexcessbackingandbatting.

17.Sewthebindingstripstogetherintoonecontinuousstrip.Pressinhalflength-wise. Sew the binding to thequilttopwitha3/8”seamallowance,miteringthecorners.Turnthebindingtothebacksideofthequiltandstitchdownbyhandwithmatchingthread.
