The Wave-sheaf (omer, bundle) offering istraditional-ly thought of as being Abib 16, however Yahusha ISthe omer, and ascended to perform this on the morrowafter theweeklySabbath. The count to Shabuoth (7 x7 complete weeks) is determined by getting this cor-rect. This offering, called thefirst-fruits, was fulfilledby Yahusha when Heresurrected. During the festivalof Matsah (Unleavened Bread), the High Priest wouldwave the first-fruits of the barley harvest on themorrow after the Sabbath. Yahusha became thewave-sheaf offering because the resurrection wasthe object, and the wave sheaf was the shadow.
