• The Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans of the Black Sea,

Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic Area was adopted in

1996 and entered into force in 2001

• Established under the aegis of the UNEP/CMS Convention

on Migratory Species of Wild Animals
