LPSD concisely defines the client'spropositions and the interests of allstakeholders

The charter project is a source ofinformation that identifies andanalyzes the impact of eachstakeholder on the project.

The identification, creation andanalysis of profiles is where the rolesand responsibilities of each personare defined.

2

The IPD principles are promoted forgood communication between eachof the stakeholders. In addition, theorganizational structure is planned ina manner consistent with the needsand constraints of each stakeholder.

The project management plan ispresented in which approaches aredeveloped using techniques andtools to involve stakeholders in theirneeds, expectations and interests.

Stakeholder participation isplanned here by definingcommunication methods andstrategies to encourage theinvolvement of all stakeholders.

Incidents, changes, lessons learnedare addressed to encourageappropriate participation byeveryone

The communication and stakeholderinvolvement plan is carried out at allstages of project implementation.

This table was prepared based on the research proposal that consist of three phases:1. Stakeholder Identification2. Stakeholder management planning3. Execution of stakeholder management

II. DATA ANALYSISA survey was conducted among experienced engineers and experts in the field of project management in buildings to analyze the problem in Peru and corroborate the feasibility of the research topic. (expert’s judgment)

III. DECISION MAKING

The following is a detailed explanation of the proposal that focuses on stakeholdermanagement with the integration of the aforementioned study methodologies.

Figure 5. Structure of the stakeholder identification phase

Big Room is a large and orderly space that fosters a good collaborative environment. This is where the training and theelaboration of a profile of each interested party will take place, reflecting their knowledge, communication methods andtheir interest in the project.

Phase 2: Stakeholder management planning

Figure 6. Structure of stakeholder management planning

The organizational structure is elaborated, where it is seen who responds to whom and under what measures to avoid unnecessary meetings that raise the risk of contagion at work.

Communication strategies contains contact information, a communication matrix and a degree of prioritization thathelps the manager to maintain a fluid conversation with the engineer, designer, architect, main contractors andderivatives during the design and engineering stages.

For the development of the activities of this phase, the progress of the project planning must continuewith the practice of the Big room.

Presentación

MIRO facilitates the meeting between the design and engineering team to discuss planning decisions for on-site execution. In addition, theservice is free, easy to access, and above all encourages the application of visual management, which is a Lean tool that helps clarifyprocesses or other information to be visually appealing and simple to understand.

Phase 3: Execution of stakeholder management

Figure 10. Structure of Execution of stakeholder management

IPD contains a series of very important principles for the correct execution of a construction project. The engineersinterviewed emphasize that the poor collaborative environment that exists in construction companies is synonymous withpoor management in Peru. Therefore, these principles help to form leaders regardless of the position one holds.

Monitoring and follow-up adds two records: Performance Evaluation and Lessons Learned. These reports help to evaluatethe performance of the stakeholders and recognize which were the errors in the assigned activity with the objective toimprove immediately and take into consideration these records for future planning of other multifamily projects.

IV. CONCLUSIONS

1. The experts' opinionhighlights the managementproblems in multifamilyprojects in Peru, mentioning that 68.18% ofthe causes of inefficientmanagement are due tothe lack of application of aproject managementmethodology (40.91%) anda poor collaborativeenvironment (27.27%).

2. Inefficient planningdevelopment and poorexecution of a multifamilyproject in Peru is mainlydue to project scope andobjectives not beingclearly and conciselydefined (40.91%) andequipment and workmaterials not beingdelivered on schedule(46.15%) respectively.

3. In the three phases ofthe proposal, the practiceof face-to-face and virtualBig Room (MIRO platform),type of ICE meeting, isestablished, since itpromotes order and speedto make decisions in anysituation that may occurduring the developmentstages of a multifamilyproject.

IV. CONCLUSIONS

4. The constant monitoring ofthe activities established inthe proposal with theestablished records allowsthem to analyze the differentscenarios during a multifamilyproject. That is, it helps toidentify any type of incidentor underperformance of thestakeholder to take correctiveaction quickly and effectively.

5. The stakeholdercommunication plan, shown in phase 2 of theproposal, represents theuse of communicationstrategies in a registry thatallow for greater fluidityand integration amongeach stakeholder.

6. The feasibility of stakeholdermanagement in multifamilyprojects in Peru applying thementioned methodologies andthe use of the Big Room as themain tool is 92.31%, since thebest of each one is obtained(69.23%) and new concepts andpractices are established(23.08%) to formulate a newapproach in these times ofchange as stated in our proposal.
