FCA Burns Night Supper & Dance.

Saturday 26th January 2013

Our Burns Night is a convivial evening of traditional fare and

entertainment at The Community Centre, Fluin Lane, Frodsham to

celebrate the life and works of Robert Burns, The Bard of Scotland.

Speeches and Toasts will be made in honour and memory of

Robert Burns, The Haggis, the Lassies and the Laddies!

Music will be provided by Daniel Axworthy (Fiddle) with Alex

Garner (Guitar) and they will be joined by Tim Flaherty of the

Bogtrotters to form a ceilidh band for the dancin’.

Other entertainment will reflect the work of Robert Burns through

poetry and song.

The Haggis, the highlight of the three course meal to be served,

will be freshly imported from the land of its birth and ceremoniously

arrive to be addressed in the traditional manner.

Vegetarian Haggis is also available but must be ordered in advance.
