The FB2550 Series Driver Assist Terminal is designed to speedthe vehicle weighing process and reduce associated operatingcosts. By allowing drivers to remain inside their vehicles, the

FB2550 DAT also eliminates safety concerns and liabilities that canoccur when drivers walk across scale platforms and traffic lanes.

The FB2550 DAT’s reduction in weighment time increases scalethroughput and overall efficiency. The FB2550 DAT also enables24-hour operation without additional labor costs and has built-inethernet connectivity that easily interfaces scale transaction datawith a company’s existing computer network.

Truck pulls onto thescale platform and theprocess begins whenthe driver selectsinbound or outboundweighing. In manyapplications, this screencan be bypassed so theprocess begins with theID Entry Screen below.

Optional shroudprovides additional

protection andsun shield forthe terminal. Ticket dispenser

Driver is promptedto enter the Truck IDor swipe an ID card.FB2550 DAT readeraccessories include aproximity, magnetic orbar code card reader.

Optional promptfor Product ID.Product ID isvalidated againstthe systemdatabase.

Optional prompt for Customer ID.Customer ID isvalidated againstthe system database.

Provides the driver anopportunity to reviewthe entered informationbefore generating aticket. If changes areneeded, the drivercan select the EDITbutton to update theinformation.

Screen will showGross, Tare and Netweights briefly, whilethe transaction isprocessing. Printinga ticket is optional.
