About Faxination
Faxination Server was the first fax server specifically designed
for
Microsoft Exchange. We have put over a decade of fax server
and
Exchange integration experience into our latest release: Version
6.0.
Faxination requires no separate client software; it simply
extends
Microsoft Exchange and Outlook clients with fax capabilities.
This
enables users to send and receive faxes just like e-mail,
directly to and
from their desktop. And it allows Faxination Server 6.0 to

Fenestrae Faxination Server 6.0
featuresn Native Exchange integration. Allows users
to access full fax server functionalitywithout the need for any
additional clientsoftware. Faxination uses MicrosoftOutlook as the
familiar and common clientinterface.
n Easy to Use. Fax messaging becomes aseasy as creating and
sending an e-mail withthe message type fax. Both OutlookContacts
and Address Book are supportedfor easy contact selection.
n Notifications. Faxination delivers sentmessage confirmations
to the sendersInbox. In case of non-delivery, a report isdelivered
including the reason for failure.
n Bundled transmission of fax messages.Faxination is capable of
bundling multipleseparate fax messages to the samerecipient,
thereby increasing transmissionefficiency and reducing transmission
cost.
n Schedule messages. Faxination users canschedule fax messages
to be sent at a latertime for lower PSTN transmission cost andoff
peak network usage.
n Priority fax messages. Fax message can geta higher priority
assignment based onsender, charge code or other user
definedparameters.
n Inbound Routing. Various types of inboundrouting codes can be
specified to routemessages directly to a specific usersdesktop, an
Exchange Public Folder or anapplication.
n Attachments. Users can send fax messageswith multiple
attachments. Even messageswith a combination of Word, Excel and
PDFattachments are delivered to the recipientas one logical set of
fax pages.
n Active Directory integration. Faxinationsintegration gives the
administrator a singleuser store, single admin cycle, and
singleseat management capabilities without theneed for directory

and SoftIP- Intel
n Logging. All sent and received messages,including all relevant
transmission details,can be logged in MSDE (standard part
ofFaxination 6.0) SQL Server or via CSV files.
n Support for Active/Passive cluster. Ifreliability of your fax
server is critical foryour organization, you can installFaxination
6.0 in an Active/Passive cluster.Should one server fail, the other
canseamlessly take over the fax workload.
n Fax over IP Support. Leverage yourinvestments in IP networks
and
applications by integrating fax intoyour converged
infrastructure.
Faxination 6.0 supports Fax over IP inconjunction with selected
products fromEicon, Brooktrout and Intel.
n Inbound PDF support. In manyorganizations, PDF is the standard
format
for document archiving anddelivery. Faxination 6.0 offers
the
option to deliver inbound fax messages notas TIFF but as PDF,
thereby integrating faxmessaging into corporate standards as wellas
eliminating the need for a separate TIFFviewer on all end user
workstations.
n OCR module (optional). While Faxinationsarchiving capabilities
have historically
been strong functional advantage,we now have added the option
to
archive fax messages combined with their(text) contents. This
module allows for afree text search of your fax message store.A
powerful feature that proves its valueevery time you are looking
for a specific faxmessage.
