Father Daughter Dance

Welcomes New St. Serra Families!

What is the SJSC PTO Father Daughter Dance? The Father Daughter Dance is one of the most memorable annual events at St. Serra. Your daughter(s) will enjoy an “Enchanted Evening” with her Dad in our “transformed” SJSC Student Activity Center covered in lavender, rose gold, green, and white lights, lanterns and flowers, and many custom touches to help create their Enchanted Evening. She can even attend with a Grandfather, Uncle or a friend’s Dad if hers is unavailable. We want every St. Serra girl to enjoy a fun evening with friends.

When and where will the dance occur? Saturday, February 24, 2018, 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the SJSC Student Activity Center.

How does my child participate? An invitation was included in the January 11 Yellow Monthly Envelope. It can also be printed from the SJSC website when you click on Parents-Parent Teacher Organization-PTO Events and Programs-Father Daughter Dance. You may register by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, for $50 or walk-up registrations the night of the event are $75. You can also use your invitation to pre-order raffle tickets and receive a Non-Uniform Dress Pass for your daughter(s), or pre-order any girls’ flower crowns or Dad’s fresh rose boutonnieres.

What else can they do at the dance? They can dance to the tunes of a professional DJ, create silly memories in the new photo booth set ups, take a more “formal” picture with their Dad with a professional photographer, as well as enjoy a fun slideshow, tasty treats (such as homemade, warm, mini donuts and hot chocolate), and a special tribute to our Class of 2018 girls.

What is the Opportunity Raffle? There will be about 30-40 exciting “themed” raffle baskets for girls of all ages, such as the latest American Girl Doll, Princess Party package, wireless Beats, and more. Tickets can be pre-purchased or purchased at the dance.

Can I volunteer for this event? Parent volunteers are absolutely needed and appreciated! What a fun way to earn some service hours and learn more about getting involved at your child’s school.
