We will show how you can set up configurations using predefined templates, copy configuration data from a legal entity to a data project and export it, and then import it into another legal entity

• Add entities that are needed to create a configuration

• Adjust entities that may have been optimized for OData usage so that

they perform well in a configuration scenario

• Improved performance on key entities like cities and zip codes

Speed

• Example: Customers also have an invoice customer so the invoice

customer must exist first before the customer can be imported

• We now sequence the data correctly for a single pass

Self referencing entities

• Example: Vendor has default bank account but bank account needs a

vendor

• New entities that allow a single pass or a new set of entities

Circular dependencies

• Dynamics 365 has over 2000 entities with various dependency levels

• Interim solution is improved, sequenced templates that can be merged

• Longer term solution allows you to auto-sequence a configuration
