Yes, it was unanimous because we didn't do a good job of screening, and it was at the very end of a very long meeting

(intentionally?). Did you know the relationship before voting? To be fair and above board with all, shouldn't that relationship

have been disclosed upfront to ALL? I sincerely hope that NO business is done during this interim period 'cause we'll be the

laughing stock of this community if they do. I really object to the way this board was staffed in the past, and the way

it's conducted OUR business. It has given the appearance of dirty pool, and has cost the tax payers a lot of money too. This

is not the openness and transparency in government that the public is looking for these days. Luv, Fred und Nancy

Richard, I just heard that we nominated and voted Chaz Stevens' father to the interim term open on the Fire Pension Board. I

My frustrations boileth over with these two clowns. Therefore, please return the materials I gave you earlier this month, rather

than pass them along to Mr. Ganz as I'd previously requested. We might just have a chance for some progress and healing

here in D.B. after these guys leave the scene. Their sly and deceitful tactics have driven a wedge between our localgovernment and the public. That's NOT good leadership, and it most certainly does destroy any trust in government from the

public. Nancy and I will be at tonight's budget meeting. We'll be the folks w/o the City teeshirts on.

    Subject:MilitaryTrail traffic situation

Comm. Rosanzweig, Somebody from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church asked me how we're coming on the traffice light, and crosswalk request. I told her it was being studied by Broward County and the City right now. For future discussions with

interested parties, did you ever get a count on the number of BSO tickets issued, accidents, and those with injuries along this

part of Mil. Tr.? It would also be of help if we knew how many people used the "old" crosswalk 40 yards South of Hillsboro

Blvd. on Mil. Tr., and the number of accidents along that section of roadway. I'd like to be in a position to show that last year

we authorized that misplaced crosswalk, and FOUR expensive traffic lights w/o having any pedestrian usage figures to justify

a million dollar widening project, etc. Sincerely, Fred

Subject: Your citizens speak, and ourcity government doesn't hear too well?

Dear Mayor, I've attended most of the City Council meetings, and a few of the District Commissioner quarterly town hallmeetings since last year's fight to make our City government more responsive to the people of Deerfield Beach. All I hear

from the City employees is how wonderful everything is going, and from the citizens, how complaints many years old are

being ignored or just beginning some course of corrective action. Where have these City employees been working over the

past 10 years? Certainly not doing their jobs very well 'cause we're hearing some heavy old complaints that were never

addressed before you were elected. Did the prior Mayor and Commissioners NOT do their jobs, or is it your

old management team that's getting ALL these failing grades? Every time I ask for information, voice a complaint, or make a

suggestion, I don't hear the communications door open up.....no reply, NO action, and the door closes? On one rather sore

issue we've been working on for over 4 years now, is the traffic light on SW 15th St., and crosswalk here on Military Trail

between the Catholic Church and The Meadows.
