What does your job involve?‘Imakesurethateverythingrunssmoothlyduringthenightshift.Thatincludesthebookings,whetherthetrucksarriveontime,ifadditionalstockneedstobeordered,dealingwithdrivers:theentireorganisation.I’malwaysthefirstonetherefortheeveningshift,whichstartsat8pm.Officially,myworkstartsat5pm,butI’malwaysearly.Thatway,there’splentyoftimetobriefoneanotherandIalwaysknowexactlywhatneedstohappenthatnight.’

What motivates you?‘Igrewuparoundtransportandhavebeenworkingintheindustryforover35years.It’swhereI’vefoundmyniche.AndIliketowork–maybeI’mabitold-schoolinthatway. Ienjoydoingthingstothebestofmyabilityandfindingwaystoconstantlyimprove.And ifweperformwell,thecompanyperformswell,too!’

The options are vast: 41,000 products, 19,000 of which are permanently in stock in Nieuwkuijk. Parts Express recently began providing Same Day Express delivery to Diesel Technic.
