FAQs - Physiotherapy
FAQs - transferring into Physiotherapy
Can I transfer to IBPZ Bachelor of Physiotherapy from my program?
You can attempt to transfer from another tertiary course through SATAC. For student's
who have completed one year or less of tertiary study selection is based on the best ofthe TER/ATAR or Grade point average (GPA). For those students who have completedmore than one year of tertiary studies, selection is based on the GPA. For moreinformation on transfer go to the Special Entry page on the Future Students website.
Please note: This is very competitive, even students with a high ATAR or GPA may notbe successful as it depends on the demand of the program which has traditionallybeen very high. Students that are successful in transferring usually have a high GPA.
The number of tertiary transfers varies from year to year, but some allocation is madeeach year for this.
What is the minimum number of units I have to do before I attempt to
transfer in?You have to have studied 18 units.
Is there a mid year intake for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy?

What if I apply for a tertiary transfer through SATAC and I don't get offereda place?
You can aim to achieve a higher Grade Point Average (GPA) and then try to transferagain or you can look at the Master of Physiotherapy Graduate Entry program.
