New tools & features

FAO Library Catalogue accessible through EndNote

A new feature is added to EndNote, the citation management tool provided by (and

accessible through the menu of) the Web of Science, to search the FAO Library catalogue

from within the tool. This means that you can now add FAO library records directly to your

EndNote lists/libraries.

This feature is accessible by clicking on "Collect" and subsequently “Online search” in the

EndNote menu. Select the catalogue you are interested in from the dropdown list, e.g. FAO

Library, and connect EndNote to the selected resource. At this point you are able to search

the catalogue and import and edit records into EndNote.

Please note that from the regional office you will have to access the tool the first time

through the SAG and create an account. Once you have an account you will be able to access

it from outside the SAG. If you encounter any problems with accessing Endnote or the Web

of Science, please contact [email protected] .
